Dark Harbor’s newest frights will be unveiled at Midsummer Scream on July 29.
The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor, billed as “Southern California’s most terrifyingly authentic haunt,” will once again rise from the deep, dripping with the history of the infamously haunted ship, from September 27 to November 2, 2018.
“Gruesome and bloodcurdling spirits will descend upon the legendary Queen Mary in Long Beach for the most anticipated, terrifying 23 nights of the year. Dark Harbor’s resident spirits—Ringmaster, Captain, Samuel the Savage, Graceful Gale, Half-Hatch Henry, Iron Master, Scary Mary, Voodoo Priestess, and Chef—will raise hundreds of tortured souls and spirits to haunt the grounds of Dark Harbor nightly for an unforgettable, bone-chillingly immersive experience.”
In an exclusive sneak peak, the creators and producers behind Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor will reveal the newest frightful features for the upcoming season at the Midsummer Scream haunters convention on July 29 at the Long Beach Convention Center. To celebrate Halloween in July, Dark Harbor’s panel will reveal some of the terrifying new tricks being conjured up for the 2018 season of Dark Harbor.
Located in the Port of Long Beach, the Queen Mary features a rich maritime history, authentic Art Deco décor, and stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and Long Beach city skyline. At the time of her maiden voyage in May of 1936, she was considered the grandest ocean liner ever built. The Queen Mary’s signature restaurants include Chelsea Chowder House, Observatory Bar, as well as, a weekly Champagne Sunday Brunch served in the ship’s Grand Salon. History buffs enjoy the ship’s museum with various daily tours, and currently the ship is featuring the renowned Diana: Legacy of a Princess exhibit.
The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor was named one of the top 10 most haunted places on Earth by Time magazine. General admission ticket prices for this year’s event start at just $20 online, with Fast Fright, Evil Express, VIP, Ultimate Scream, and lodging packages available.
