Miami, Fla. (Feb. 12–15, 2026) — Horrorland Miami has announced Love Kills, a Valentine’s themed haunted attraction scheduled to operate for four nights only, February 12 through February 15, 2026, at Jungle Island, Miami, Florida.

“Valentine’s entertainment has become predictable,” the event’s creators said in the announcement. “We wanted to create something people have never experienced before, a Valentine’s event as intense and immersive as the biggest Halloween horror nights, reimagined for February.”
Event Format and Location
Love Kills will take place at Jungle Island in Miami and is positioned as an alternative Valentine’s weekend experience for couples, groups, and general attendees. Valentine’s Day in 2026 is a Haunter’s Paradise (Analysis)
Friday the 13th falls on Valentine’s weekend in 2026; If there is ever a time to test a Valentine’s haunted house, this is it. Horrorland Miami is one of multiple operators seizing this opportunity to expand beyond the traditional October calendar.
Fright Nights WV’s debut Valentine event, “Final Cut: ‘Til Death,” combines interactive gameplay mechanics (kill sticker survival system) with an integrated bar crawl experience, using that layered interactivity to justify a pricing jump from $30 general admission to $60 for bar crawl packages.
Queen Mary’s Dark Masquerade (also new this year) will emphasize intimate character encounters and theater-style immersion with curated tastings and guided exploration.
Cinema of Horrors’ Hearts of Horror simply turns off the lights and provides candles, recontextualizing existing haunts through darkness.
Horrorland Miami appears to be running a Valentine’s-themed version of its regular haunted house operations. The $29.99 price point suggests they’re positioning this as comparable to their Halloween programming, just repositioned for February.
The four-night run (Wednesday through Saturday) is more aggressive than many first-time Valentine’s haunts, which typically operate only on Friday and Saturday. This suggests Horrorland sees real demand potential, likely banking on Miami’s tourist market and the Friday the 13th hook to drive midweek attendance (not to mention needing to amortize the investment in Valentine’s costumes and decorations over multiple days).
Will Valentine’s haunts maintain momentum as a sustainable off-season revenue stream, or will 2026 prove to be a one-year spike driven by calendrical timing? Horrorland Miami’s performance over these four nights will provide useful data for other attractions evaluating whether year-round operations can work in tourism-dependent markets.
Horrorland Miami’s Evolution
Horrorland Miami was founded in 2020 as a drive-through haunted attraction during the COVID-19 pandemic. The original event was designed to operate with minimal physical contact and provided employment opportunities during a period when live entertainment was largely shut down, creating 250+ jobs.
The attraction has earned recognition for community engagement and pandemic adaptation, receiving awards for Best Community Engagement and Best Adaptation of an Event During the Pandemic.
Since then, Horrorland Miami has continued to produce seasonal haunted attractions in South Florida. Love Kills represents the company’s first Valentine-themed haunted event and its first operation outside the Halloween season.
