Halloween Horror Nights 35: Universal Orlando
Universal Studios Japan mascot HamiKuma is getting his first Orlando meet and greet this year, inside Five & Dime at Universal Studios Florida.
The 2026 merchandise collection is live at Universal’s online store. The Tribute Store returns August 26 at its original location left of Revenge of the Mummy, themed Sideshow Obscura, and Hollywood merchandise arrives August 13, 18 and 19. Universal Studios Singapore’s 14th annual Halloween Horror Nights runs 18 select nights from September 25 through November 1, with four haunted houses, two immersive scare zones, and a new roving scare experience.

Halloween Horror Nights Japan
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka runs September 11 through November 8, 2026, marking the event’s 15th anniversary and coinciding with USJ’s 25th anniversary. Unlike the US HHN events, HHN Japan is included in standard Studio Pass admission — no separate hard-ticket is required.
Two new enclosed attractions headline 2026: Resident Evil Requiem: The Dive in Stage 18, tied to Capcom’s 30th anniversary of the Resident Evil series and running through December 27 (its Licker popcorn bucket and Raccoon City Police merchandise go on sale September 9), and Zanzō, the first R-18 age-restricted attraction in the event’s 15-year history (17 and under barred; separate paid ticket from ¥1,900). Other 2026 additions include the Halloween Horror Night Academy 15th anniversary retrospective show at Gramercy Park, Playback Zombie de Dance nostalgia medley, new Chainsaw Man and Zombie de Dance overlays on Hollywood Dream, and a Jaws: Red Alert after-sunset overlay running through January 31, 2027. Scares at Universal (Beijing)
Universal Beijing Resort’s autumn Halloween event is officially branded Scares at Universal, not Halloween Horror Nights. The 2026 event runs September 4 through November 1, 2026, marking the resort’s 5th anniversary season under the theme “Infinitely Your Way.” Scares at Universal is included with standard park admission (no separate hard ticket), and haunted mazes have walk-up queue-only access with Universal Express as a paid optional upgrade.
Two new marquee haunted mazes are confirmed for 2026, both based on major Chinese entertainment IPs: The Grave Robbers’ Chronicles (盗墓笔记), tied to Xu Lei’s landmark Chinese tomb-raiding novel franchise, and Identity V: Escape from White Sand Street (第五人格 – 逃离白沙街), tied to NetEase’s asymmetric survival horror mobile game. Both are homegrown Chinese IPs — a strategic shift from prior years that leaned on Universal-owned horror properties and UBR originals.
