- Newsletter subscriptions: When you subscribe to the HAN newsletter, we collect your email address. Newsletter subscriptions are managed through Mailchimp, which collects this information on our behalf and is subject to its own privacy policy at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/.
- Reader correspondence: When you contact us by email with story tips, corrections requests, or other communications, we receive the information you provide in that message.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the HAN website, our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically collect:

Information from Social & Video Platforms

HAN uses Mailchimp to manage and deliver our newsletter. When you subscribe, your email address is shared with Mailchimp so they can deliver the newsletter to you. Mailchimp’s handling of subscriber data is governed by its own privacy policy.

User-Generated Content
HAN does not currently allow comments on articles. We do not host user-generated content on the website. If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe how that content is handled.
