Four of Disney’s six resorts are running Halloween now. Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort, and Hong Kong Disneyland are in season, Disneyland Paris opens its Disney Halloween Festival on September 26, and Shanghai Disney Resort starts October 4. Both U.S. ticketed parties, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Oogie Boogie Bash, are sold out for 2026.
Outside the U.S., every resort puts Halloween inside a regular park ticket, with no separately ticketed party. Paris comes closest on Halloween itself, when Disneyland Park stays open late and lets guests of all ages come in costume.

Which Disney Halloween fits what you want
- Trick-or-treating. The U.S. parties are built around it, and both are sold out. Hong Kong has in-character cast members handing out treats at trick-or-treat spots, and Paris runs a Mystery Doors hunt with an M&M’S reward, both on a regular ticket.
- Halloween on a regular park ticket. Disneyland’s Halloween Time, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Paris, and Shanghai. At Disney World, the resort-wide fall decor and EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival need only regular admission.
- Adults in costume. Tokyo allows full costumes from September 15 through 30 and October 16 through 31. Paris allows them on October 31. In the U.S., adult costumes are allowed only during the ticketed parties.
- Disney Villains. Oogie Boogie Bash’s villain treat trails (sold out), Hong Kong’s Uninvited! A Villains Takeover Party, Paris’s roaming Maleficent and Cruella de Vil and a Dr. Facilier photo spot, Tokyo’s Villains’ Halloween parade, and Peg-Leg Pete’s debut in Shanghai.
- The Nightmare Before Christmas. Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland (into January), Tokyo Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion “Holiday Nightmare,” Jack Skellington’s dinner in Hong Kong, and Jack and Sally meet-and-greets in Paris.
- Coco and Día de los Muertos. Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure and Lazos de la Familia at Tokyo DisneySea, both through November 2.

Walt Disney World
Dates: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs on 38 select nights from August 7 through October 31 at Magic Kingdom. The wider fall season runs into late November.
Tickets: all 2026 party dates are sold out, according to Disney. Single-night tickets ran $119 to $229 plus tax.
On a regular ticket: fall decor across all four parks, Disney Springs, and the resort hotels, plus the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, August 27 through November 21.
New for 2026: a masquerade with Stitch, Lilo and Angel in Tomorrowland, the Captain Jack’s Buccaneer Bash pirate show, and new Haunted Mansion meet-and-greets. The party-only Hatbox Ghost and Headless Horseman popcorn buckets are in my Disney World popcorn bucket roundup.

Disneyland Resort
Dates: Halloween Time runs at both parks from August 21 through October 31. Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure runs through November 2, and Haunted Mansion Holiday stays up into early January 2027.
Tickets: Oogie Boogie Bash runs on 33 select nights from August 18 through October 31, and general admission is sold out, according to Disneyland. The Oogie Boogie Bash VIP Tour, which includes event tickets, is still sold.
On a regular ticket: everything in Halloween Time, from Haunted Mansion Holiday to Guardians of the Galaxy, Monsters After Dark and Cars Land’s Haul-O-Ween.
New for 2026: Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake, a Haunted Mansion street party that replaced the Frightfully Fun Parade at the Bash, Yzma on the villain treat trails, and a party-only Headless Horseman Bucket.

Tokyo Disney Resort
Dates: Disney Halloween runs September 16 through October 31 at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. Lazos de la Familia at Tokyo DisneySea runs through November 2.
Tickets: included with park admission, with no separate party.
Costumes: full character costumes are allowed September 15 through 30 and October 16 through 31, with a blackout from October 1 through 15.
New for 2026: Lazos de la Familia expands across more of Lost River Delta, and Miguel from Coco greets guests in two looks. Most of the rest returns from 2025, including the Villains’ Halloween parade and the Haunted Mansion “Holiday Nightmare” overlay. My Tokyo lineup breakdown has the full list.
Hong Kong Disneyland
Dates: Disney Halloween Time, themed Party Like a Villain, runs September 18 through November 1.
Tickets: included with park admission, with no hard-ticket party and no scare mazes. Disney Premier Access viewing for the villains’ party starts at HK$99, and Jack Skellington’s The Nightmare Before Dinner is a separately priced meal.
What to see: Uninvited! A Villains Takeover Party, with Maleficent leading ten villains, including Oogie Boogie, down Main Street, U.S.A. on a newly expanded route. Disneyland Paris
Dates: the Disney Halloween Festival runs at Disneyland Park from September 26 through November 1.
Tickets: included with park admission. There is no separately ticketed party in 2026. Disneyland Park stays open late on Halloween night, adds special guests, and allows Halloween costumes for guests of all ages, all on a regular ticket.
What to see: the Mickey’s Halloween Celebration cavalcade on Parade Road, Maleficent and Cruella de Vil roaming the park, a Dr. Facilier photo spot in Frontierland, Jack Skellington and Sally, the Mystery Doors hunt with M&M’S, and the Unlucky Nugget Saloon, a haunted dining overlay booked through a virtual queue. Shanghai Disney Resort
Dates: Halloween runs October 4 through November 1, part of the resort’s 10th Birthday celebration.
Tickets: included with park admission.
Peak days: ten Spook-tacular Days, October 16 to 18, October 23 to 25, and October 29 to November 1.

Yes. Every 2026 date of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is sold out, and Oogie Boogie Bash general admission is sold out. At Disneyland, the Oogie Boogie Bash VIP Tour still includes event tickets.
Which Disney parks include Halloween with a regular ticket?
