Fall and Halloween Fast Food 2026: Every Chain’s Menu, With Dates and Photos

The earliest fall item in our 2026 calendar was Wendy’s Apple Crumble Frosty Fusion on August 3, and the Halloween menus followed, from Sonic’s Universal Monsters toys in late August to Dairy Queen’s first Halloween collection on September 28 and Starbucks’ Black Cat Frappuccino on October 22. Every chain we have covered is below with its dates, what is new, and a photo, starting with the Halloween menus.

When Does the Fall Menu Come Out?

In 2026 most major chains launched their fall menus between August 18 and 26. McDonald’s, Philz, Cracker Barrel, and First Watch went first on August 18. Dunkin, Panera, Peet’s, and Einstein Bros. followed on August 19, and Starbucks brought back the Pumpkin Spice Latte on August 25, the latest of the big pumpkin launches. The calendar above has every date.

Halloween Fast Food 2026

Dairy Queen, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Starbucks, Jack in the Box, Applebee’s, Shake Shack, and BJ’s all have Halloween menu items in 2026, and Wendy’s and Sonic have Halloween kids’ meal toys. Biggby Coffee adds Halloween drinks in October, listed in its fall entry.

Dairy Queen Spellbound Series (September 28 to November 1)

Dairy Queen’s first Halloween collection comes with a purple ube-flavored Oreo Blizzard, a sparkling blood orange lemonade that foams as you stir it, a ghost pepper dipping sauce, and $4 mystery plush keychains.

• New: the Enchanted OREO Blizzard (Oreo cookies, a sweet ube-flavored base, and a purple shimmer), the Bubble Brew DQ Sparkler (blood orange and lemonade with sparkling water and cold foam), and Ghost Pepper Sauce for the four-piece Chicken Strip Basket

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop Draco Menu (through November 8)

Fuzzy’s brought back its Halloween Draco menu for 2026 and added a new Draco’rrito, a flour tortilla with a crispy cheese crust.

• Food: the returning Draco Taco II ($4.69) and the new Draco’rrito ($10.25)
• Drinks: the Drac ‘A Rita frozen margarita ($9.25), the Midnight Matador ($11.69), and a $5 Modelo Draft

Starbucks Black Cat Collection (merchandise September 15, drinks October 22)

Starbucks’ Halloween collection celebrates black cats with merchandise, a Black Cat Frappuccino, and a large, shareable black cookie.

Jack in the Box’s The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror menu arrived September 10 with a Munchie Meal of Horror, Krusty-inspired burgers, and six glow-in-the-dark collectible cups.

• Munchie Meal of Horror: a Double Krusty Burger of Terror or a Double Chicken Sandwich of Terror with two tacos, seasoned curly fries, a drink, and one of six glow-in-the-dark cups

Applebee’s Spooky Sips (through November 15)

Applebee’s brought back its $6 Spooky Sips for 2026 with two new booze-free drinks. The $1 Dollar Zombie is not on the menu, but the $6 Tipsy Zombie lists the same ingredients.

• Cocktails ($6): the rum-based Dracula’s Juice and Tipsy Zombie
• Booze-free: the $4 Tropical Spell Mocktail and the Graveyard Dirty Soda (Mountain Dew, blue raspberry, whipped cream, and Oreo crumbles)

Shake Shack’s Halloween item is a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Shake poured into a crackable dark chocolate shell.

Wendy’s brought back its Frosty Frights Kids’ Meal toys for 2026, with 12 to collect and a secret 13th.

Krispy Kreme (out August 11)

Krispy Kreme’s Autumn Collection brought Pumpkin Spice back on August 11, with four doughnuts and two lattes in all.

First Watch brought pumpkin back in two forms, alongside a new Maple Bacon Croissant Sandwich. The seasonal menu runs through October 26 (not in the Tampa Bay area or select new restaurants).

Wendy’s skipped a Pumpkin Spice Frosty for a new Apple Crumble Frosty Fusion, a vanilla Frosty with spiced apple syrup and oat crumble, pitched as a fall flavor “beyond pumpkin spice.”

McDonald’s put caramel apple, not pumpkin, on its McCafe fall coffee menu, and its Pumpkin & Crème Pie is back separately at participating locations.

• New: Caramel Apple Pie coffees as a Frappe, a hot latte, an iced latte, and an iced coffee, finished with salted caramel whipped cream and apple pie bits
• Also back: the Pumpkin & Crème Pie, a sugar-coated pastry with pumpkin filling on one side and crème on the other (280 calories). It has no press release and is not on the national online menu, so check the McDonald’s app for your location
