Halloween Horror Nights 35

New this year, Universal Studios Japan’s Halloween mascot HamiKuma makes his Orlando meet and greet debut inside Five & Dime.

The scariest event in Orlando turns 35 and runs its longest calendar ever: 48 select nights from August 28 through November 1 at Universal Studios Florida, the earliest start in event history. The 2026 theme is the Infernal Carnival of Nightmares, fronted by Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow appearing together as allies for the first time. All 10 haunted houses have now been announced, closing with Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness, a posthumous tribute house shared with Universal Studios Hollywood. Early access now begins at 2 p.m., with three houses open before the 6:30 p.m. official start. Universal CityWalk’s Red Coconut Club also gets its annual Halloween overlay, Dead Coconut Club – Harvest, themed to an alien invasion at Midweston’s 35th Annual Harvest Festival – free, all ages, and open to guests with or without an HHN ticket. Returning street experiences Mel’s Die-In: Zombies and Club Horror take over the Hollywood Boulevard and San Francisco sections between houses. Universal is also opening a shared Fortnitemares scare zone (Freaky Fields) tied to Epic Games’ annual in-game Halloween event, and the event’s fourth and final zone, Downtown Clowntown, puts the Killer Klowns from Outer Space and Terrifier’s Art the Clown on the same New York street.

Dates 48 select nights, Aug 28 – Nov 1
Location Universal Studios Florida
Tickets Separately ticketed. Single nights from $88.99. Multi-night passes from $229.99 for Rush of Fear and $274.99 for Frequent Fear, plus a new 5-House R.I.P. Tour, all on sale as of July 21, 2026. See our pricing breakdown and HHN tickets guide

Named so far: the houses I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Final Catch, Everything Must Stay, and The Crawl Space, the scare zones Extermination Order, Nekrosis, and Just One More Chapter, and the bar The Rewind. Nekrosis sets the event in a seaside town frozen at midnight on January 1, 2000, and The Rewind runs the same 1990s hook. SeaWorld is still teasing an event redefining reveal.
