The first-ever Boo Ha Ha, a haunted Oktobeerfest, will take place at the OC Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa, California, on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Brew Ha Ha Productions, the largest craft-beer-event producer in the United States, is putting on this event and promises two nights of boos, brews, live entertainment, and spooky activities galore.
“We’ve always dreamed of a Halloween festival and can’t imagine a better venue or partner than the OC Fair,” said Cameron Collins, Brew Ha Ha Productions Founder.
“After six successful years of Brew Hee Haw, our award-winning collaboration event with Brew Ha Ha, we look forward to expanding the partnership to include a two-night celebration of Halloween and craft beer,” said Dan Gaines, Entertainment Director of the OC Fair and Event Center.
Unlimited tastings of more than 80 German-style and local craft beers from top breweries
will be held from 6 pm to 9 p.m. with concessions for purchase open until 11:30 p.m. VIP guests have access to a private ‘Rattskeller’ lounge, where they can treat themselves to a rare beer selection reserved just for them.
The inaugural event also features activities such as stein-holding competitions, zombie face painting, and Halloween costume contests for attendees to flaunt their most outlandish costume creations. Traditional German food, including pretzels and bratwurst, will be available for purchase all night long.
Live musical entertainment will be provided by Orange County’s Oingo Boingo tribute band, Dead Man’s Party, on Friday and the heavy-metal mariachi band, Metalachi, on Saturday.
Boo Ha Ha tickets are available for purchase at TheBooHaHa.com with a portion of the proceeds going to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County and the Inland Empire.Ticket prices are $55 each and, if available, day-of prices are $65 each. A limited amount of Early Bird priced tickets have been released for $45 each, available while supplies last. VIP tickets are available starting for $55 for Early Bird, $70 for regular admission, and, if available, $80 day-of ticket. Non-drinking tickets are available for $25.
Boo Ha Ha is for guests 21 and older and is a rain-or-shine event. No refunds will be offered, and IDs will be checked.
