Wicked New England Brings Halfway to Halloween Festival to Salem’s Historic Old Town Hall

Are you counting down the days until the Halloween season returns? For haunt enthusiasts who can’t wait for the spooky season, Wicked New England is launching its inaugural Halfway to Halloween Festival in the perfect location – Salem, Massachusetts, known worldwide as “The Witch City.” Tickets are available now.

Halloween Fans Gather at Salem's Historic Old Town Hall

On Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 11am to 7pm, Salem’s historic Old Town Hall will transform into a Halloween haven featuring:

  • A curated vendor marketplace with spooky, macabre, and Halloween-themed merchandise
  • Panel presentations from New England’s premier haunted attractions and Halloween offerings
  • A photo opportunity designed by professional haunt creators
  • Live monsters prowling the venue

Local Haunted Attractions and Panels

The festival showcases some of New England’s most beloved haunted attractions. Barrett’s Haunted Mansion will create a custom photo opportunity specifically for this event and bring their professional monsters to interact with guests.

Throughout the day, the Old Town Hall stage will host panel presentations featuring insights from regional haunt and Halloween experts, including Witch City Walking Tours, Halloween New England, and The Horror Squad Podcast. These sessions offer a rare behind-the-scenes look at how New England’s haunted attractions create their spine-tingling experiences.

Halloween Marketplace

The Marketplace features vendors from all over New England and beyond with their spooky, scary, macabre and Halloween-themed merchandise for all to enjoy. From apparel to candles, jewelry, decorations, artwork, pet accessories, bath goods, apothecary items and more, every Halloween-loving guest is sure to find something to take home.

Perfect Timing for Halloween Fans

“I couldn’t think of a better place to launch Wicked New England,” states event producer and founder Jeff DePaoli. “Growing up, there was nothing like Halloween night in New England with the crisp Autumn air, foliage, trick-or-treating and other festivities. Halloween is my favorite day of the year, so I’m always looking for ways to keep the spirit of Halloween around throughout the year.”

As haunters know, May marks the halfway point to Halloween, making it the perfect time to reconnect with fellow enthusiasts and start planning for the upcoming season.

Tickets Now Available

General admission tickets include access to all festival activities inside Old Town Hall. For a limited time, the Wicked New England Website Early Bird discounted tickets.

This event will be produced under DePaoli’s depaolEVENTS label and is being sponsored by Witch City Walking Tours.
