Betsey Johnson’s new Halloween purse is shaped like a haunted house, complete with a small front window that opens to reveal a mirror, for $148. Betsey Johnson also released a matching “Boo & Breakfast” tote, two wallets, and a Haunted Castle bag that stands on tiny witch feet.
The Haunted House Bag
The haunted house crossbody is built to look like a spooky mansion. It has a tiled roof, a glowing arched window up top, boarded-over windows wrapped in planks, spider webs, and a little spider-web charm hanging off one side. On its product page, Betsey Johnson describes the bag in the label’s tongue-in-cheek voice: “Boo! This isn’t your average handbag, it’s a full-fledged haunted mansion you can carry everywhere.” The page spells out the trick, too: “External window opens to reveal a mirror—the perfect touch for checking your look before you haunt the party.” Betsey Johnson pitches it for “Halloween parties, costume events, or anyone who loves a little supernatural style year-round.” The crossbody measures about 8 inches wide.
The Rest of the Boo & Breakfast Collection
The rest of the lineup shares the same black-and-multicolor haunted-house artwork, so the pieces read as a set.
The tote is the roomy one, at $108 and 14 inches wide, and it carries the same “Boo & Breakfast” haunted-house print and the same hidden window mirror. Betsey Johnson makes two wallets in the print as well: an $88 wallet on a chain, sized like a mini bag, and a $38 bifold with a zip coin pocket.
The other standalone design is the Kitsch Small Haunted Castle crossbody, a little castle-shaped bag covered in bats, webs, and beetles. Per Betsey Johnson, it has “adorable witch feet on the bottom to help it stand upright,” which is exactly as literal as it sounds. At about 4 inches wide, it is the smallest of the group, a novelty piece more than an everyday bag, and it runs $128.

All five pieces are listed at betseyjohnson.com, and they are part of the label’s 2026 Halloween assortment, which went up over the summer. Availability has been uneven: the haunted house crossbody was unavailable on the site earlier in the week and is listed again as of September 16, so it is worth checking the page for current stock before you count on any one style. Prices run from the $38 wallet up to the $148 crossbody, and Betsey Johnson pitches the prints for year-round wear, not just October, so the collection is not strictly a Halloween-week buy.
