Shoppers have been posting Art in the Attic, a Terrifier holiday doll of Art the Clown, from Spirit Christmas stores, and Spirit now sells it online for $34.99, in my story on the doll.

What Spirit Christmas Sells
Spirit’s Christmas shop splits into décor, animatronics, inflatables, nutcrackers, and costumes and apparel, with a holiday costume section and an Ugly Christmas section. It also carries The Nightmare Before Christmas décor. Spirit lists 22 Christmas animatronics and props online, from $39.99 for Santa’s Magic Book to $499.99 for the 7-foot nutcrackers, and it ships them or holds them for free store pickup. Every piece, with photos and prices, is in my Spirit Christmas animatronics guide.
Spirit Christmas also says Spirit Halloween’s $499.99 life-size Freddy Fazbear animatronic is coming to its stores, in an October 18 teaser that gave no price or store list, and my Freddy Fazbear animatronic story has the details.
- Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer characters, $199.99 each: the Misfit Doll, Misfit Elephant, Misfit Charlie-in-the-Box, and Clarice. Charlie-in-the-Box and Clarice each speak four lines from the 1964 Rankin/Bass special.
- Frosty the Snowman, $329.99, and Professor Hinkle, $349.99: Frosty is 5 feet 9 inches and tips his hat, and Professor Hinkle stands 5 feet 5 inches and connects by cord to Spirit’s Karen animatronic.
- 7-foot Bluetooth nutcrackers, $499.99: a Silver Bling and a Candy Cane Bling version that sing along to music from your phone.
- Smaller pieces: a light-up swinging gnome that plays “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” for $199.99, and light-up gingerbread kids for $119.99 each.
How Spirit Christmas Has Grown
Spirit Christmas piloted 10 stores in 2024 and grew to 30 in 2025, in the Northeast and Great Lakes, Retail Dive reported. This year’s locator lists 43 stores in 15 states, and five of them opened October 14 and 15. Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia are new to the list, and Florida, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania have four stores each.
Like Spirit Halloween, the Christmas stores move into empty big-box spaces. Seven are former JoAnn stores, three are former Bed Bath & Beyond stores, and two each were Big Lots and Party City. The Albany, New York store is in a former Christmas Tree Shop. For the Halloween side, see my story on the 85 former Party City stores Spirit Halloween moved into this year.
