Six Flags Entertainment Corporation has announced new Blair Witch: No Signal haunted mazes for the 2026 Halloween season, coming to Dorney Park’s Halloween Haunt in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and Six Flags Great America’s Fright Fest in Gurnee, Illinois. The two mazes tie a licensed horror IP to Halloween events at two of Six Flags Entertainment Corporation’s parks, one from the former Cedar Fair side of the 2024 merger and one from the former Six Flags side.

What is Blair Witch: No Signal?

Blair Witch: No Signal is a new licensed haunted maze based on the Blair Witch horror franchise, debuting at two Six Flags parks for the 2026 Halloween season. The “No Signal” title references the franchise’s found-footage premise about filmmakers who lose contact while investigating the Blair Witch legend. Maze design details, opening night, and ticketing have not been announced.

Where will Blair Witch: No Signal mazes debut?

Blair Witch: No Signal will debut at Dorney Park’s Halloween Haunt presented by SNICKERS in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and at Six Flags Great America’s Fright Fest in Gurnee, Illinois. Both events run under different Halloween brands owned by Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, the parent company formed by the July 2024 merger of legacy Six Flags Entertainment and Cedar Fair.

When does Dorney Park’s Halloween Haunt run in 2026?

Dorney Park’s Halloween Haunt runs select nights, September 18 through October 31, 2026. The event includes haunted mazes, scare zones, live shows, and select nighttime rides. Mazes are premier attractions and require a separate Haunted Attractions Pass in addition to park admission. HAN reviewed Halloween Haunt at Dorney Park in a 2015 Haunt Tour episode and video.

When does Six Flags Great America’s Fright Fest run in 2026?

Six Flags Great America’s Fright Fest runs select nights, September 19 through November 1, 2026. Fright Fest 2026 coincides with the park’s 50th anniversary season and includes daytime family programming, scare zones, mazes, and after-dark event nights. Great America is in Gurnee, Illinois, roughly 45 miles north of Chicago.

The Blair Witch franchise, in brief

The Blair Witch franchise launched with the 1999 found-footage horror film The Blair Witch Project, directed by Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sánchez. The film grossed nearly $250 million worldwide on a reported production budget of around $60,000, and is widely credited with popularizing modern found-footage horror. The franchise expanded with a 2000 studio sequel (Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2) and a 2016 reboot (Blair Witch, from Adam Wingard and Simon Barrett). Lionsgate holds theatrical rights to the property.

A new Lionsgate and Blumhouse Blair Witch reboot from director Dylan Clark, with a script by Chris Thomas Devlin, is dated for a September 24, 2027 theatrical release, per reporting from Variety, Deadline, The Hollywood Reporter, and Screen Daily. Original directors Sánchez and Myrick, along with original film cast members, are reportedly attached in producer roles. Six Flags has not stated whether the Blair Witch: No Signal mazes are connected to the upcoming film.
