Jason Voorhees is stalking Six Flags this Halloween. JASON: Blood Reign, a new haunted maze inspired by the Friday the 13th franchise, is coming to three Six Flags parks for 2026: SCarowinds, Kings Island’s Halloween Haunt, and Six Flags Great Adventure’s Fright Fest.
Into the Woods Around the Summer Camp
The maze sends guests into the dark woods surrounding the legendary summer camp to retrace the blood-soaked events that turned Jason Voorhees into the most feared slasher in horror. Six Flags frames it simply: what should have stayed dead has returned, and guests become part of the story.
From the Jason Universe
JASON: Blood Reign comes through Horror, Inc., the company behind the Friday the 13th franchise, which launched its Jason Universe brand in 2024 to expand the property. “It’s incredible to see how fans’ appetite for Jason Voorhees keeps growing,” said Robbie Barsamian, executive vice president at Horror, Inc., adding that the Six Flags partnership delivers the slasher to fans on an immersive scale. Horror, Inc. is also developing the A24 prequel series Crystal Lake. The original Friday the 13th premiered in 1980 and went on to spawn 11 more films.
Part of Six Flags’ Biggest Halloween Yet
JASON: Blood Reign is one of four new horror franchises in Six Flags’ largest-ever 2026 lineup, alongside Final Destination: Death’s Playground, Blair Witch: No Signal, and Diablo: The Infernal Path, part of 11 new mazes across the chain. For every maze mapped park by park, plus dates, see our Fright Fest 2026 all-locations guide.
Six Flags is not the only operator with Jason this year. Thirteenth Floor is bringing an officially licensed Jason Universe: Survive the Night walkthrough to nine haunts for 2026.
