Sandusky, OH — Cedar Point’s HalloWeekends returns for its 29th year on select dates September 17 through November 1, 2026, per the park’s official event page. The first maze has been announced, Diablo IV: The Infernal Path, but the rest of the lineup has not, pricing has not been posted, and the per-date calendar is not up yet. This guide covers what is confirmed and will be updated as Cedar Point posts the rest.
HalloWeekends, Not Fright Fest
One point of confusion worth clearing up first, because a lot of people are searching for it: Cedar Point’s Halloween event is HalloWeekends, not Fright Fest. Cedar Point’s website now lives at sixflags.com following the 2024 merger of Cedar Fair and Six Flags, but the park kept its own Halloween brand. Fright Fest is the event at legacy Six Flags parks, covered park by park in our complete Fright Fest 2026 guide. HalloWeekends is Cedar Point’s long-running name for the season, and the park calls 2026 its 29th year.
Dates and Structure
The event runs select days and nights, September 17 through November 1, 2026, under the full name HalloWeekends presented by SNICKERS. The format splits the day in two, and the park’s copy puts it plainly: “Fun by day, fright by night.”
Daytime is the family side, with “corn and hay mazes, pint-sized tractors for kids, pumpkin decorating, games and trick-or-treating,” per the event page. Night brings the haunted mazes, scare zones, and entertainment.
Tickets and the Haunted Attractions Pass
The haunted mazes are not included with park admission. Per Cedar Point, “Haunted Mazes require a Haunted Attractions Pass, available later this summer. All season options will also be available for Season Passholders and Members.” Pricing for the pass has not been posted.
The Diablo Maze
On August 7, Six Flags announced that Diablo haunted mazes are coming to Cedar Point and Kings Dominion this fall. The announcement artwork titles the maze Diablo IV: The Infernal Path and carries a 2026 Blizzard Entertainment copyright line.
Cedar Point has since detailed the maze, billed as DIABLO: The Infernal Path and designed exclusively for Cedar Point and Kings Dominion. Per the park’s announcement, reported by WKYC, a ritual breaks the barrier between worlds and sends guests through a realm of demons drawn from the game series, with characters including The Butcher, Duriel, Baal, Mephisto, Lilith, and Diablo himself. The maze is included with the Haunted Attractions Pass during HalloWeekends. The park has not yet posted scare zone or show listings or a per-date operating calendar, and we will update this guide as those post.
