Six Flags has confirmed that The Conjuring: Beyond Fear, the interactive SCREAMium walkthrough, returns this fall to four parks: Cedar Point, SCarowinds at Carowinds, Canada’s Wonderland, and Kings Island. The return was teased earlier this year and locked in as part of Six Flags’ chain-wide 2026 Halloween reveal on August 17. It is a second season at all four parks for the experience we last covered when Carowinds brought it back for its first-ever Scream Break this spring.
“Something sinister returns to Six Flags,” the company teased on Instagram. “Experience supernatural horror like never before with the SCREAMium experience, Conjuring Beyond Fear!”
Two Different Conjuring Attractions in 2026
One point worth clearing up: Six Flags is running two separate Conjuring products this year. The Conjuring: Beyond Fear is the premium, separately ticketed SCREAMium walkthrough at the four former Cedar Fair parks above. It is distinct from The Conjuring Universe, a standard haunted maze included on the Haunted Attractions Pass at six Fright Fest parks: Six Flags Magic Mountain, Great Adventure, Over Texas, Fiesta Texas, Great America, and Over Georgia. Same film franchise, two different attractions, and two different ticketing models. Our Fright Fest 2026 all-locations guide maps where each one runs.
About the Experience
The Conjuring: Beyond Fear is a 20-minute interactive walkthrough created by Plague Productions, the haunted attraction design studio founded by Jon Cooke, in partnership with New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences. Groups of eight to 10 guests move through more than a dozen rooms built around scenes from the Warner Bros. horror franchise, interacting with live actors, securing cursed artifacts, and working to “lock Annabelle back in her box before supernatural chaos is unleashed.”
The experience originally opened last fall during the Halloween events at all four parks, including SCarowinds’ 25th anniversary season, where it ran as a separately ticketed premium experience priced at $15 to $25 per night. Attractions Magazine’s Blake Taylor called it “the most fun I’ve had in a theme park in a long time” and “the best experience Scarowinds has ever crafted” after visiting last September.
Tickets and Dates
Beyond Fear is not included in the Haunted Attractions Pass and requires its own single-entry ticket, with advance purchase recommended. At Cedar Point, the walkthrough starts at $25 per night for the roughly 20-minute experience. Each park runs it during its fall Halloween event, and Six Flags parks are posting operating dates and hours between August 17 and early September.
