Kim’s Krypt Haunted Mill (Thursday Pre-Convention Tour)
Kim’s Krypt Haunted Mill in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania, features five attractions spread across 62.5 acres of historic property. The attraction dates back to a grist mill built in the 1700s, with the four-floor Haunted Mill serving as the centerpiece. Additional attractions include House of Eyes, Horror of Menges Mill, Terror Trail, and Dark Despair, along with a midway featuring food trucks, games, a gift shop, escape rooms, and hearse and coffin rides.
Owner Kim said the convention tour gives attendees a chance to experience the attraction outside the regular season. “We are really excited and looking forward to being one of the featured haunts on the East Coast Haunters Convention Tour this year,” she said. “A lot of other haunters can’t make it out during the haunt season as we are open on the same nights, so this gives everyone the opportunity to check us out as well as the other amazing haunts that will be featured on the tour.”
She added: “Kim’s Krypt has come a long way and we are always creating new scenes, revamping, adding, upgrading and changing the attractions and midway. I can’t wait to see you. Yes, I still carry my own severed head around with me.”
Kim’s Krypt Haunted Mill began in 1994 in Baltimore, Maryland. The current Spring Grove property was purchased at auction in 2014.
We are really excited and looking forward to being one of the featured haunts on the East Coast Haunters Convention Tour this year... I can’t wait to see you. Yes, I still carry my own severed head around with me.

Lehigh Valley Scream Park (Thursday Pre-Convention Tour)
Lehigh Valley Scream Park in Orefield, Pennsylvania, is now in its 11th year. The park features four haunted attractions: Condemned Haunted House, Bio-Purge Haunted House, Hollow of Horror Hayride, and Psycho Path Haunted Corn Maze. The venue also operates a large midway entertainment area with bonfires, live DJs, food, adult beverages, axe throwing, and games.
Lehigh Valley Scream Park did not respond to a request for comment before publication.
Lincoln Mill Haunted House (Friday Night Haunt Tour)
Lincoln Mill Haunted House is a story-driven haunted attraction set inside an 1860 textile mill in Manayunk, a historic neighborhood in Philadelphia. Entering its fifth season, the attraction has established itself as one of the area’s fastest-growing immersive horror experiences.
“Lincoln Mill Haunted House isn’t just a walkthrough,” said Jared Bilsak, cofounder and architect of the attraction. “It’s an immersive horror experience rooted in story, atmosphere, and history.”
The attraction’s narrative centers on the fictional former mill owner Viktor Kane, whose dark secrets were “uncovered” after real-life flooding from Hurricane Ida in 2021 damaged the building. Beyond the indoor experience, the Mill Yard offers an open-air extension with roaming characters, and the River Deck overlooks the Schuylkill River.

Pennhurst Asylum (Friday Night Haunt Tour)
Pennhurst Asylum in Spring City, Pennsylvania, operates inside the buildings of the former Pennhurst State School and Hospital, which closed in 1987. The attraction has been running since 2010 and describes itself as “America’s Scariest Haunted Asylum.”
Jim Werner of Pennhurst said the attraction will “have some very special one-of-a-kind experiences lined up” for the East Coast Haunters Convention tour.
Shocktoberfest: Saturday Night Tour and Party
Shocktoberfest in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania, will host the Saturday night tour and party. Now celebrating its 35th year, Shocktoberfest bills itself as Pennsylvania’s premier haunted scream park.
Owner Patrick Konopelski said the evening will feature the Zombie Safari Hayride, The Unknown Haunted House, the 50,000-square-foot Prison of the Dead haunted compound, and the Midway Massacre Scare Zone, all with live actors. Attendees will also get behind-the-scenes access to the actor area, a mini escape room, and Ground Assault Zombie Laser Tag.
The party will take place in Club Shock and include a professionally catered meal with food stations from appetizers to desserts, music, and a cash bar.
