Family Guy is spending Halloween in Hell. The show’s 2026 Halloween special, titled Happy Hell-o-ween, sends Brian and Stewie to the underworld with Succession star Kieran Culkin guest starring as Satan. It streams on Hulu this fall.

The Premise

In Happy Hell-o-ween, Brian and Stewie wind up in Hell and are forced to answer for 24 seasons of bad behavior. After the pair manage to annoy the Devil himself, they end up in charge of the place. Kieran Culkin, of Succession and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, voices Satan.

Announced at Comic-Con

Family Guy revealed the special during its San Diego Comic-Con 2026 panel. It is one of two new Hulu-exclusive specials for the year. The second is a Christmas special titled The Peter Clause, in which Peter and the guys fight over who gets to be Quahog’s official Santa. Neither has a confirmed release date yet.

When and Where to Watch

Happy Hell-o-ween streams on Hulu this fall, with an exact date still to be announced. It continues Family Guy’s recent habit of dropping standalone holiday specials on Hulu, separate from its broadcast run. Family Guy Season 25 is set to return to Fox’s midseason Animation Domination lineup early next year. For the rest of the season’s lineup, see our guide to Halloween TV specials 2026.

It is shaping up to be a busy Halloween season for animated and streaming specials, with more holiday titles on the way.
