Branson, MO — Field of Screams Branson, the indoor haunted attraction inside Ballparks of America, runs 18 nights in October, from October 2 through Halloween, plus a Halloween and Christmas crossover event on November 6, 7, 13 and 14. Hours are 7 to 11 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays and 7 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and the box office opens at 6 p.m.
Field of Screams Nixa runs the Branson location, its first indoor attraction, under a multi-year sublease from Ballparks of America. The plan announced for the space was roughly 40,000 square feet at launch, growing to 100,000 square feet over the next few years. The outdoor Field of Screams Nixa haunt, the operator’s main attraction at 2142 N Sports Complex Lane in Nixa, is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in October, plus Thursday, October 29, and closes for the season on Sunday, November 1.
About Field of Screams Branson
The Branson location is in the former Red Roof Mall building inside the Ballparks of America campus, at 1000 Pat Nash Drive. The haunt’s website describes two attractions: 9th Inning Nightmare, a walk through an abandoned arena with dark corridors, tunnels, fog-filled passageways, live actors and animatronics, and Carnival of Chaos, a carnival setting with clown figures and strange performers. The website also lists escape rooms, laser tag, midway-style games, concessions and themed retail. Owner Derrick Moore told OzarksFirst.com when the Branson location was announced that the sets would be on a cinematic scale to match the larger-than-life vibe of Branson’s other attractions.
“For a long time, we’ve wanted to create something truly special in Branson… something fun, exciting, creative, and honestly a little terrifying,” Moore told the outlet. “We couldn’t have found a better place to do it.”
Moore said he will also be running new entertainment attractions owned by Ballparks of America, including zombie laser tag, glow mini golf, and escape rooms. The 270,000-square-foot Ballparks of America campus will continue to operate normally, including its fall baseball-tournament schedule, with the haunt sharing the property.
Field of Screams Nixa Remains Open
The Branson expansion is in addition to, not in place of, the existing outdoor haunt. The operator told supporters on the company’s official Facebook page that “Field of Screams Nixa is NOT going anywhere” and that the original Nixa haunt is returning for the 2026 season with “new scares, new experiences, and even more nightmares.” Guests can attend either or both locations. As of October 5, the schedule on the Field of Screams Branson website lists 18 October nights and four crossover nights in November:

Thursdays and Sundays run from 7 to 11 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays run from 7 p.m. to midnight. The box office opens at 6 p.m., and tickets are sold through the Get Tickets button on the haunt’s website.
