Fright Nights WV has announced a new off-season event, “Fright Nights Final Cut: Summer Slaughter,” scheduled for Friday, June 13th. According to the press release, this one-night-only experience will allow participants to “step into the scenes of a live slasher film.”
The Experience
The event description indicates that guests will navigate through four horror sets while being pursued by a masked killer. Participants will travel in groups of six and experience what the organizers describe as “suspense-filled moments, eerie silence, and the constant threat of a killer lurking in the shadows.”
Those “caught” by the killer during the experience will be marked with a sticker to track their fate through the attraction.
“Summer Slaughter is like walking straight into a terrifying VHS tape — you’re in the movie now, and your survival isn’t guaranteed,” stated Ashley Long, Creative Director at Fright Nights WV, in the press release. “We wanted to give guests something fresh, interactive, and terrifying to kick off the summer in true Fright Nights fashion.”
Ticket Options
The event will offer a “Double Feature Ticket” option that allows guests to re-enter the experience. According to the announcement, this allows participants to “either survive what they didn’t before, or collect more ‘kills’ to compare with friends.”
All participants will receive a rules briefing before entering the attraction. The press release notes guests should expect “light physical contact (such as a tap on the shoulder)” as part of the interactive experience.
