The Haunted Attraction Network’s “Hauntathon 2023,” a 61-day celebration of haunted attractions, has broken records with 140 million views from horror and Halloween fans around the world.

The Haunted Attraction Network, the leading news resource for the haunted attraction industry, received 90 million views. The Hauntathon’s programming partners received over 50 million views.

Hauntathon 2023 explored haunts of all sizes, from the legendary to the unsung, through videos, podcasts, virtual visits and even VIP in-person experiences. Presenting daily content from Sept 1 through Oct 31, the group of 9 programming partners helped raise awareness of the haunted attraction industry, giving viewers unparalleled peeks into more than 70 haunted attractions worldwide.

“We are proud to have showcased haunted attractions worldwide as part of our biggest Hauntathon yet!” said Haunted Attraction Network founder Philip Hernandez. “Programs like this are crucial for raising awareness of the haunted attraction industry.”

The Haunted Attraction Network and Hauntathon 2023 were featured on television with NBC’s California Live and Fox 2 Detroit, and on national radio with Marketplace.

This year’s programming partners included Attractions Magazine, Creepy Kingdom, Freaks of HHN, Kevin Heimbach, ScareTrack, Sharp Productions, That Halloween Podcast, The Horror of Being Emily, and The Scare Factor.

“We’re excited to explore even more haunted attractions for Hauntathon,” said Hernandez. “We’re looking forward to bringing even more thrills and chills to our fans in the years to come.”

Hauntathon 2023 was a record-breaking event, and the team is proud to have provided horror and Halloween fans with a unique and exciting experience. With more programming partners and more viewers than ever before, Hauntathon 2023 was a huge success.

Applications for the 2024 Hauntathon will open during Transworld’s Halloween & Attractions Show happening March 7-10, 2024, in St Louis Missouri.
