Home Depot’s Halloween bucket has a Christmas version for the first time: a white 2-gallon bucket printed with a Christmas tree and fireplace on one side and Santa’s sleigh over a Home Depot store on the other. It went on sale online on October 1 for $2.98 and reaches stores in mid-October.
The Design
The bucket is white with a metal handle, and the print is black line art with orange accents. One side shows a Christmas tree with orange ornaments next to a brick fireplace with a wreath, two stockings, and a banner that reads “2026.” The other side shows Santa’s sleigh and three reindeer flying over a snow-covered store with a sign that reads “HOME DEPOT 2026.”

Home Depot’s listing suggests using it for gift baskets, candy, party favors, and holiday crafts. One of its product photos shows the bucket holding ice melt on a snowy driveway.

Where to Buy the Home Depot Christmas Bucket
Home Depot lists it as the 2 Gal. White Holiday Bucket, the same size and price as the orange Halloween bucket that sold online for the first time in August.
- Online, now. The bucket is on homedepot.com as model PN0287. On the morning of October 1, the page offered free delivery the next day to a Santa Clarita, California, ZIP code and showed 1,821 available.
- In stores, mid-October. Home Depot’s announcement gives mid-October for stores. On October 1, the Santa Clarita store already showed “Limited Stock” for pickup.
- While supplies last. Home Depot calls the bucket limited-edition, and the product page lists no purchase limit.
The Price
The bucket is $2.98 in Home Depot’s announcement, the same price as the Halloween bucket. The product page showed $2.88 for the Santa Clarita store on October 1, and Home Depot’s site says local store prices may vary.
The Holiday Sweater Sold Out the First Morning
The Home Depot Holiday Sweater is a $29.99 novelty sweater with apron pockets that comes filled with tools, and it is the company’s first. It went on sale at 11 a.m. ET on October 1 in unisex sizes XS to XXL, and by about 1 p.m. ET the shop’s page said the first release had sold out.

The sweater’s pockets come filled with eight items that Home Depot values at more than $150:

- Husky 25 ft. Tape Measure

How the Halloween Bucket Sold
The Halloween-print bucket first spread on TikTok in September 2025, and resellers listed it on eBay at roughly triple the store price this year. “Home depot halloween bucket” is searched about 27,100 times a month in the United States, according to DataForSEO.
Petco and Lowe’s followed with Halloween buckets, from $1.50 at Petco to $6.98 for Lowe’s glow-in-the-dark bucket. Prices and shipping for each are in my Halloween buckets roundup.
Home Depot’s 2026 Holiday Collection
The bucket is part of Home Depot’s 2026 holiday collection, which is online now and reaches stores the week of October 5.
- Grand Duchess trees. The 9-foot and 7.5-foot artificial trees add Hubspace app control this year.
- Giant Santas. A 6.5-foot animated Santa is app-controlled, and an 8.5-foot Towering Santa lights up.
- Fresh-cut trees. They arrive in stores in November.
- Gift sales. Holiday savings on power tools and smart home products start October 29.
