Howl-O-Scream Tampa returns for the 2025 season on September 5 with a new haunted house, expanded scare zones, and updated experiences across the park. The separately ticketed event runs select nights through November 2, with limited-time pricing starting at $34.99.
This year’s headline addition is M.A.R.S., a science-fiction horror concept set aboard a crashed spacecraft on the surface of Mars. The Elysium, once a prized vessel in the interplanetary fleet, has been destroyed on impact. Survivors now face the cold, failing systems—and a swarm of insect-like alien creatures drawn to the wreckage. Guests are cast as members of a search-and-destroy team tasked with reaching the ship’s core and preventing the threat from spreading.
Also returning is Ravens Mill – Lambs to Slaughter, which has received new enhancements for 2025. The rural mill, once dormant, is now reactivated by unknown forces. Scarecrows stitched from the missing townsfolk populate the fields, while the mill grinds through flesh and bone under the operation of silent workers.
Three new scare zones debut this year:

The Pestilence: Gas-masked doctors patrol a plague-ravaged town, dragging victims toward an ever-burning furnace.

Breadcrumbs to Nowhere: A rotting cottage in Havenwood Forest draws in the lost with the scent of sugar and decayed fairy tales.

Murders at Buckshot Ridge: A backwoods logging camp consumed by violence and something worse lurking in the forest.
Additional offerings include the returning scare zones Ragnar’s Wrath and Shadows of Wonderland, along with two live shows:

The Reckoning, featuring the character Lark as she confronts the Gatekeeper in a final judgment.
