Jack in the Box’s The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror menu is official and in restaurants nationwide starting today, September 10, led by a new Munchie Meal of Horror and a run of Krusty-inspired burgers, a Forbidden D’oh!nut Holes dessert, an all-new Spooky Simpsons Sauce, and six glow-in-the-dark collectible cups. The limited-time lineup is available at participating Jack in the Box locations, through the Jack app and at JackintheBox.com, while supplies last.
The Munchie Meal of Horror
The centerpiece is the Munchie Meal of Horror, a Treehouse of Horror take on Jack’s late-night combo. Guests choose a Double Krusty Burger of Terror or a Double Chicken Sandwich of Terror, served with two tacos, seasoned curly fries and a drink. Each meal comes with one of six special-edition glow-in-the-dark cups and arrives in an exclusive Treehouse of Horror Munchie Meal box. Both sandwiches carry the all-new Spooky Simpsons Sauce, described as a smoky BBQ ketchup made for the collaboration, on a custom sesame seed bun.
The Treehouse of Horror Meals
Beyond the Munchie Meal, four themed entrees round out the menu, each served with fries and a drink:
- Krusty Burger of Terror: a seasoned beef patty, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and Spooky Simpsons Sauce on a toasted sesame seed bun.
- Double Krusty Burger of Terror: two beef patties with the same build.
- Triple Krusty Burger of Terror: three beef patties and three slices of American cheese.
- Double Chicken Sandwich of Terror: two crispy chicken patties, Swiss-style cheese, lettuce, tomato and Spooky Simpsons Sauce.
Forbidden D’oh!nut Holes
The dessert is where Simpsons fans will perk up. The Forbidden D’oh!nut Holes are warm donut holes dusted with cinnamon sugar, topped with pink frosting and finished with rainbow sprinkles, a Jack take on the show’s most famous pink doughnut. The name winks at “The Devil and Homer Simpson,” the Treehouse of Horror IV segment in which Homer trades his soul for a doughnut, and even the packaging shows Homer’s transformation into a donut.
Collect all six cups
The takeover extends to six special-edition glow-in-the-dark cups, each with a different Treehouse of Horror design, that come with the Munchie Meal of Horror while supplies last. Named designs include Hugo, Bart’s evil twin brother, along with Krusty the Clown, Marge, and Kang and Kodos. Custom packaging carries Easter eggs from past Treehouse of Horror episodes.

Matt Selman, executive producer and showrunner of The Simpsons, called it “the most authentic and funny and scary and deeply Simpsons-y fun food collaboration the show has ever done,” and said “the Munchie Meal is dense with deep references for both Simpsons and Jack in the Box fans alike.”

The menu is available for a limited time starting September 10 at participating Jack in the Box restaurants nationwide, through the Jack app and at JackintheBox.com, while supplies last. Jack in the Box did not announce pricing, which varies by location.
How a running joke became a real menu
The collaboration is a full-circle moment. Jack in the Box has spent recent years turning the Munchie Meal into a collaboration platform, marking the item’s 10th anniversary in 2023 with a Snoop Dogg Munchie Meal and following it with an Ice Cube version in 2024. The Simpsons has already spoofed the chain. Its 2020 episode “Highway to Well” ran a fake ad for “Krusty’s Munchie Mouthfuls,” a late-night fast-food gag aimed straight at the Munchie Meal, and this menu turns that old joke into an actual tray of food. Leaked promotional art circulated for weeks before today’s announcement, and the official lineup confirms most of it, with two tacos rather than the Monster Tacos the mockups had suggested.
