McDonald’s Pumpkin & Crème Pie is showing up at restaurants again for fall 2026, the seasonal cousin of the year-round Baked Apple Pie. There is no press release and no post announcing it. What there is: a live McDonald’s product page and a growing list of fans who have already bought one.

Per that product page, the Pumpkin & Crème Pie is 280 calories and, in McDonald’s words, “a baked sugar-coated premium pie pastry crust with a pumpkin pie filling on one side and a crème filling on the other.” The page tells you to order it “from the full menu in the app for McDelivery or pickup,” and it carries the qualifier that defines this rollout: “At participating McDonald’s.”

Why You Might Not Find It

If you go looking for the pie the way you would check any McDonald’s item, you can come up empty. It is not on McDonald’s national Sweets & Treats online menu, which as of September 5 lists the McFlurry flavors, cones, shakes, sundaes, the Baked Apple Pie, and the chocolate chip cookie, but not the pumpkin pie. There is no news release marking a 2026 return. The confirmation is the product page and the app, and availability is location by location, which is exactly why a quick search can leave you unsure whether it is really back.

People Are Already Buying It

The pie is out there. Snack-news account Markie Devo said he picked one up in Brooklyn, New York, in late August, posting that it was “appearing at locations now,” and sightings have surfaced in the Dallas area and elsewhere as fans map out which restaurants are carrying it. Those are on-the-ground reports rather than a company announcement, so treat the exact spread as a moving target, but the pattern lines up with what the product page describes: a participating-locations item, not a coordinated national drop.

It Is a Returning Favorite, Not a New One

The Pumpkin & Crème Pie is not new. McDonald’s has brought it back in past fall seasons, most recently in 2025, and its two-filling format, pumpkin on one side and vanilla crème on the other, is the reason it develops a following each autumn and then disappears when the season ends. This year it is coming back without the marketing push some earlier appearances got, which is why plenty of fans are finding out about it only when they see it in the case.

A Fall Pie Among a Crowded Menu Season

The pumpkin pie lands in the middle of a busy fall stretch at McDonald’s, which also brought back its Caramel Apple Pie and fall coffee lineup for 2026. It joins a wave of limited-time fall and Halloween items across the chains that our 2026 fall and Halloween food and drinks guide tracks in one place.

Because the Pumpkin & Crème Pie is sold at participating locations and McDonald’s product page notes that prices vary, there is no single national price to quote, and the surest way to know is to check the McDonald’s app for your area or ask at your nearest restaurant. Have you spotted the Pumpkin & Crème Pie at your McDonald’s yet, or is it still apple pie only where you are?
