The world’s largest Halloween and horror convention is making its highly anticipated return to the Long Beach Convention Center from August 15–17, 2025. Midsummer Scream promises three spine-chilling days of immersive haunts, captivating panels, and special guests—attracting Halloween enthusiasts from across the globe. We might be biased, but our favorite part is the Hall of Shadows – the ultimate showcase for haunted attraction enthusiasts! Returning for all three days of the event, the Hall of Shadows boasts more than a dozen walk-through haunts, immersive displays, and live performances—all under one massive, fog-filled roof. Passes for this year’s event go on sale March 8, 2025, with 40% early bird discounts available only on March 8th.

Step into a darkened corner of the convention center where fear and creativity collide. Each participating haunt brings its own brand of terror, from classic Halloween themes to more innovative, story-driven experiences. Highlights this year include:

…and more to be announced! Haunt-goers can wander through as many attractions as they dare—all included with General Admission and VIP Gold Bat passes. Gold Bat passholders also receive priority queues, making seeing every haunt on your must-scare list easier.
This year, the Hall of Shadows remains open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Whether you’re a seasoned haunt veteran or brand new to the spooky scene, you’ll have three days to experience every maze, scare zone, and performance without feeling rushed.

Throughout the weekend, attendees can enjoy a robust lineup of panel presentations featuring top industry names, including:
