The OREOiD Monsters Fudge-Dipped Cookie Box comes from OREOiD, Oreo’s build-your-own arm, the same operation that lets shoppers customize Oreos with colors, prints, and messages for gifts and events. The Monsters box is a ready-made, seasonal version of that premium line, sold online through oreo.com and shipped to your door rather than stocked on grocery shelves. Inside are 12 cookies built on Oreo Double Stuf and Golden sandwich cookies, dipped in fudge and hand-crafted into four monster designs: a bandaged white mummy and a set of googly-eyed monsters in Halloween green, orange, and purple. Up close, the designs go heavy on sprinkles and candy eyes: the green monster gets a mop of dark, bat-shaped sprinkles over two eyes, the orange and purple monsters are one-eyed under matching sprinkles, and the mummy is wrapped in white-chocolate drizzle. Oreo says each cookie is individually wrapped, which makes them easy to drop into trick-or-treat bags, and the whole thing arrives in a blue OREO-branded gift box. Oreo even suggests using them as Halloween decor.
What a Box Costs Delivered
The $39.99 box price is only the start. Because the cookies ship from OREOiD by FedEx, checkout adds a delivery charge on top. The cheapest option, FedEx Home Delivery, runs $17.21, which brings a single box to $57.20 before tax, or about $4.77 for each of the 12 cookies. The faster tiers climb quickly: FedEx Express Saver is $41.81, 2Day is $48.67, and Standard Overnight is $77.75, which would take one box to $117.74, or about $9.81 a cookie. On the quicker options the shipping alone costs nearly as much as the cookies.
