A Las Vegas lounge is spending October as a Halloween cocktail bar. The Sand Dollar Lounge’s “The Haunting on Spring Mountain” runs October 1 through 31, with a dozen spooky drinks poured into skull glasses, cauldrons, and a clown-faced mug, plus nightly live music and wall-to-wall décor.

The Haunting on Spring Mountain pours nine cocktails, one shot, and two spirit-free drinks, all built on the lounge’s craft-cocktail program and served in custom “The Haunting” glassware that guests can buy. Here is the full lineup, per the venue.

The venue says the lineup is built to bring out the kid in even the most stubborn adults, and the themed glassware is sold as a souvenir.
When and Where to Go
The pop-up runs Thursday, October 1 through Halloween. The bar is open Monday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m., and it works on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservation required. The Sand Dollar Lounge is at 3355 Spring Mountain Rd in Las Vegas, in the city’s Chinatown district. Inside, the lounge channels 1980s horror movies, with spooky décor throughout and free live music every night.
Part of a Bigger ‘Haunting’
The takeover is a rebrand of the lounge’s annual Nightmare on Spring Mountain, done in partnership with Cocktail Kingdom Hospitality Group, which the venue says is bringing The Haunting to about 50 locations this year. So the concept reaches well beyond Las Vegas. The Sand Dollar itself has history: it opened as a blues bar in 1976, drew names like B.B. King and Muddy Waters over its early decades, closed in 2013, and reopened about two years later as a live-music lounge.
