Spirit Halloween and Goodyear have teamed up on the first officially licensed Goodyear Blimp costume: a $79.99 inflatable that blows up into the blimp’s blue-and-yellow shape with a built-in, battery-powered fan, available now only at SpiritHalloween.com.
An Inflatable Blimp With a Built-In Fan
The costume turns you into one of the most recognizable sights in the sky. It is an inflatable blimp body in Goodyear blue, yellow, and silver, with the GOODYEAR wordmark down the side and a little windowed gondola hanging underneath. In Spirit’s photos it is finished with a pilot’s cap, so you are the blimp and its captain at once. It is made from lightweight materials, and a built-in, battery-powered fan keeps it puffed up at the flip of a switch, so it holds its shape all night without any effort on your part.

A First for the Goodyear Blimp
This is the first time the Goodyear Blimp has become an officially licensed costume, and Goodyear says the idea was already in the air.

The blimp has floated over stadiums and big events for decades, which is a lot of the fun here: it is a shape everyone recognizes instantly, and it reads across a crowded Halloween party without a word of explanation.

The Goodyear Blimp Costume is an online exclusive — per the announcement it is sold only at SpiritHalloween.com, while supplies last, not in stores. As of publication, it was not showing as available on the site, which tracks for a limited-edition drop.
