Universal Studios announced that an all-new Stranger Things haunted house will run at Halloween Horror Nights 2026 at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. Developed in partnership with Netflix, the house draws from the show’s fifth and final season.
The Orlando event runs select nights Aug. 28 through Nov. 1, 2026, and the Hollywood event runs select nights Sept. 3 through Nov. 1, 2026.
About the House
Guests will navigate the town of Hawkins as the barrier between reality and the supernatural collapses. Familiar locations include the Wheeler House, Hawkins National Laboratory, the MAC-Z military base, the Upside Down, and the Abyss. Demogorgons hunt at every turn, and Vecna pulls guests into the final battle.
“Fans will confront the terror they’ve seen on screen as they navigate iconic locations and encounter favorite characters, all while evading a host of horrifying supernatural creatures, including Vecna himself,” Universal said in its announcement.
A merchandise collection inspired by the house is available now at both parks, including a T-shirt, a mug, and a Stranger Things acrylic figure that fits into Universal’s separately sold Infernal Carnival collectible display. The acrylic figure will also launch on ShopUniversal.com.
Halloween Horror Nights 2026
Halloween Horror Nights 2026 marks the event’s 35th anniversary under the theme “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares,” with Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow returning as co-icons. The first house Universal Orlando announced for the season is “Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control,” which tells the origin story of the rivalry between the two icons. Universal has also announced a Sinners haunted house at both Orlando and Hollywood, based on the award-winning Ryan Coogler film.
Universal said more details about the 2026 lineup will be revealed soon.
