Taco Bell's Salt & Straw Churro Ice Cream Taco and Choco-Waffle Chiller

Taco Bell has teamed up with the ice cream maker Salt & Straw again, this time for a Churro Ice Cream Taco. The $3.99 dessert is a crispy waffle cone shell filled with churro ice cream and coated in puffed rice and dark chocolate, and it rolled out nationwide on September 1 for a limited time. A companion drink, the Choco-Waffle Chiller, is exclusive to Taco Bell’s Live Más Café locations.

The Churro Ice Cream Taco takes Taco Bell’s crispy waffle cone shell and folds it around churro ice cream, then covers it in puffed rice and a dark chocolate coating. It is $3.99 at participating locations nationwide, for a limited time while supplies last. It is the second team-up between the two brands.

“The Churro Ice Cream Taco builds on everything fans loved about the original collaboration, with a flavor that feels right at home on our menu,” said Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s global chief food innovation officer. Salt & Straw co-founder and head ice cream maker Tyler Malek said the taco “brings together what both brands do best.”

The Choco-Waffle Chiller, $4.69

The companion is the Choco-Waffle Chiller, starting at $4.69. It is a vanilla ice cream base blended with churro crumbles and waffle cone pieces, topped with whipped cream and more waffle cone pieces, all inside a crackable chocolate shell. Unlike the taco, the Chiller is not a nationwide item. It is only at Taco Bell’s Live Más Café locations in California, Las Vegas, Houston, and Dallas, and it runs past the taco’s limited-time window.

When and where

The Churro Ice Cream Taco launched September 1, 2026, at participating Taco Bell restaurants nationwide, for a limited time while supplies last. Taco Bell has not rolled out a wider fall menu this year, so this Salt & Straw drop is the seasonal treat to know about.
