Bojangles’ chicken bites come in a haunted house this Halloween. The new Boojangles Bite Box is a dinner box in three designs that stack into a haunted house, with a biscuit, a side, a drink, a dipping sauce, and six, nine, or 12 Bo Bites inside. At participating restaurants it also has three of the chain’s new Donut Bites with salted caramel dip.
What Comes in the Boojangles Bite Box
Boojangles is the name Bojangles, the chicken and biscuit chain founded in Charlotte in 1977, takes on for Halloween, and this year the name is on its packaging. The Bite Box comes in three designs, and stacking all three builds the haunted house. Each box holds:
- Bo Bites: six, nine, or 12 hand-breaded chicken tender pieces
- A buttermilk biscuit
- A side, which Bojangles calls a fixin’
- A drink and a dipping sauce
- Three Donut Bites with salted caramel dipping sauce, at participating restaurants in what Bojangles calls its core footprint
Donut Bites, new this year, are buttermilk biscuit dough fried crispy, tossed in sugar, and served with salted caramel sauce for dipping, according to Bojangles’ menu. Restaurants in the chain’s newest markets are getting Bo Bites for the first time with the box.
“Boojangles is a tradition we keep building on each season,” said Tom Boland, Chief Marketing Officer at Bojangles.
Bite Box Prices
On October 5, the Bojangles at 300 West Boulevard in Charlotte listed the Bite Box at $9.29 with six Bo Bites, $10.99 with nine, and $12.79 with 12 Bo Bites, each with three Donut Bites included. Donut Bites alone were six for $1.99 and 12 for $3.89. Bojangles’ announcement gives no price, so those are that restaurant’s prices, and yours may differ.
That restaurant sells the box from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Donut Bites from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. The box is available now at participating restaurants while supplies last, with no end date given, and it can be ordered in the restaurant, in the Bojangles app for pickup or delivery, or through delivery services.
Boojangles Restaurants and Bite Nights
Bojangles has wrapped three restaurants in Boojangles designs for October, in Charlotte, North Carolina, in Plano, Texas, and in Conway, South Carolina. Bite Nights, which are giveaway nights for fans who come in costume, are planned in Conway and at participating restaurants in Florida and Texas. The announcement gives no dates for them and points to Bojangles’ social channels.
Last year the Conway restaurant held its Bite Nights on October 18 and 25, and fans in costume got free Bo Bites and candy, according to Bojangles’ blog. Bojangles is also working with Xavier Legette of the Carolina Panthers and his horse on this year’s campaign.
Boojangles in 2024, 2025, and 2026
- 2024: one night at the original Charlotte restaurant, which became a Halloween drive-thru with a graveyard for chicken nuggets, for the launch of Bo Bites. Announced October 28.
- 2025: Boo Time, a new promo code in the Bojangles app at 10:31 p.m. each night from October 22 to 31, plus the wrapped restaurant and two Bite Nights in Conway. Announced October 14.
- 2026: Boojangles packaging at participating restaurants across a chain of more than 890 restaurants in 24 states, three wrapped restaurants, and Bite Nights in three states. Announced October 5.
