Wendy’s Frosty Frights Kids’ Meal toys came back for a third Halloween in 2026. The 12 toys, six named characters and their variants, were in Kids’ Meals from September 14 through November 1, while supplies lasted, and a 13th figure, Brain Freeze, was a Wendy’s Rewards Drop on October 30. The $1 Boo! Books’ Jr. Frosty coupons are good through December 31, 2026.
The 2026 Frosty Frights toys and characters
The 2026 collection is all-new: six core characters, each with a rare variant, for 12 toys in total. Wendy’s named the six core characters:
- Numb Chuck – a Frosty dressed as a ninja
- Sir Choc-O-Lot – a spectral armored knight
- E.A.T. – an extraterrestrial Frosty
- Cold Foot – an abominable snowman Frosty
- Shiver Wing – a bat Frosty
- Taranchilla – an eight-legged spider Frosty
Each toy came with a sticker sheet and a mini trading card, and the Kids’ Meal arrived in a full-color themed bag. For younger kids, Wendy’s again offered a Frosty Frights storybook as an alternative to a toy. Frosty Frights came in the Kids’ Meal, which pairs the choice of 2-piece Chicken Tenders, 4-piece Chicken Nuggets, a Hamburger, or a Cheeseburger with Jr. Hot and Crispy Fries or Apple Bites and a Kids’ drink. Availability varied by restaurant, while supplies lasted. This was the third Frosty Frights collection since Wendy’s launched the series in 2024. Seasonal, named food collectibles like these are part of a growing Halloween draw HAN detailed in our Halloween 2026 trends report.
The secret 13th toy is a Wendy’s Rewards exclusive
Wendy’s offered an (un)lucky 13th Frosty Frights character that didn’t come in any Kids’ Meal. It was exclusive to Wendy’s Rewards members through a Wendy’s Rewards Drop in the app, and Wendy’s Rewards page named it Brain Freeze and said it would drop on October 30: “make sure you’ve joined Wendy’s Rewards, have our app, and alerts turned on so you don’t miss this drop.” Wendy’s describes its Rewards Drops as free collectibles for Rewards members and says they are limited. By November 3, the Rewards page no longer mentioned Brain Freeze, and Wendy’s hadn’t posted how the drop went.
Wendy’s $1 Boo! Books are back too
Alongside the toys, Wendy’s Boo! Books returned as a $1 Halloween tradition. Each book holds five coupons for a free Jr. Frosty plus one coupon for a $1.99 Wendy’s Kids’ Meal with purchase, and 90 cents of every dollar goes to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption in its work to find permanent homes for children in foster care. The coupons are redeemable in-restaurant and are good through December 31, 2026.
Boo! Books were sold at participating U.S. restaurants, in the Wendy’s app, at self-order kiosks through the “Give Something Back” option, and in bulk online through the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, for a limited time, while supplies lasted.
Boo! Books and Frosty Frights in Canada
Wendy’s Canada joined in on September 28, with Boo! Books and a selection of six Frosty Frights collectibles at participating restaurants nationwide. In Canada the coupon book is $3, and all proceeds go to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption Canada.
For the rest of the season’s chain menus, see my Fall Food and Drinks 2026 guide. Sonic Drive-In rolled out its Universal Monsters Wacky Pack toys the same season, and on the menu side Wendy’s is skipping pumpkin spice for a new Apple Crumble Frosty Fusion.
