If the smell of classic candy corn is something that brings you autumn joy, good news: Brach’s turned it into a perfume. Yes, now you can smell like candy corn.
The candy brand announced its first-ever fragrance, Ode to Candy Corn, a $22 eau de parfum built to smell like the tri-colored treat, with notes of creamy vanilla, spun sugar, and honey. It goes on sale in two online drops at 7 p.m. ET on September 22 and October 1, and it will be sold only at CandyCornSeason.com.
What Ode to Candy Corn Smells Like
Brach’s calls Ode to Candy Corn “the official scent of fall,” and the idea is exactly what it sounds like: a wearable eau de parfum meant to smell like a mouthful of candy corn. The brand describes the scent as creamy vanilla, spun sugar, and honey, and says it “captures the coziness of the season in every spray.” It comes in a 1.7 oz bottle and is Brach’s first fragrance, a first move into the beauty aisle for a brand known for the seasonal candy shelf. Candy corn’s flavor has always leaned on honey and vanilla, which is the profile the perfume is built around.

“Candy Corn is the true marker of fall and Team Candy Corn is passionate about their fandom, so this year, Brach’s is giving them a new way to express their love for the iconic treat,” said Kelly Peyser, Director of Brach’s and Seasonal Marketing at Ferrara Candy Company.
The fine print reminds you this is perfume, not candy. The brand says the bottle is “perfectly paired with a bag of Brach’s Classic Candy Corn,” though the candy is sold separately and does not come with the fragrance.
When and Where to Buy It
Ode to Candy Corn costs $22 and goes on sale only at CandyCornSeason.com in two timed drops: 7 p.m. ET on September 22, the first day of fall, and 7 p.m. ET on October 1. It is a limited-edition run, sold while supplies last, and all sales are final. Both drops are online only, with no in-store version.
Brach’s Other Fall Drops
The perfume is not the only new thing Brach’s has out this season. The brand also rolled out a new Mellowcreme Spooky Graveyard candy shaped like ghosts, bats, tombstones, and skulls, in Caramel Corn, Cotton Candy, Marshmallow, and Green Apple flavors, now in stores alongside its Classic Candy Corn, at a suggested $2.99.
Would you want to smell like candy corn?
Brach’s move into fragrances might seem odd at first, but this fits a pattern we have tracked all season: Halloween fans spending on memorable over cheap. The marketing makes it clear they’re leaning heavily into nostalgia. And although this is new for Brach’s, candy corn scents have been around with candles and even fog for a while.
