Atlanta, GA — Chicken and waffles is coming to Chick-fil-A nationwide. Starting August 24, the chain adds Chicken & Waffles Sandwiches in breakfast and entree sizes alongside two new campfire-flavored sips, the S’mores Milkshake and S’mores Frosted Coffee, all for a limited time this fall.
Part of our Fall Food and Drinks 2026 guide.
The Chicken and Waffles Sandwiches
The sandwich pairs maple-flavored waffles with a Chick-fil-A filet, three strips of applewood smoked bacon, and honey butter spread, served warm with a side of classic syrup. Guests can choose an Original, Spicy, or Grilled filet. It launches nationwide after a limited-time test in 2025.
The breakfast version, with a smaller filet and waffle, runs from opening until 10:30 a.m. The entree version, with a larger filet and waffle, runs from 10:30 a.m. to close, so the sandwich is available from morning through dinner.
The S’mores Milkshake and Frosted Coffee
Both new drinks build on Chick-fil-A’s Icedream dessert mixed with chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles:
- S’mores Milkshake — hand-spun with marshmallow-flavored syrup and topped with marshmallow-flavored whipped topping.
- S’mores Frosted Coffee — the same s’mores mix blended with custom cold-brewed coffee.
“Both Chicken & Waffles and S’mores are much-loved classics, and we challenged ourselves to bring those flavors to our menu in a playful and unexpected way,” said Allison Duncan, Director of Menu and Packaging for Chick-fil-A. “After seeing the incredible response and excitement from Guests in our test markets, we couldn’t wait to share these flavors nationwide.”
When and Where
The fall lineup arrives at Chick-fil-A locations nationwide on August 24 for a limited time. The chain says the items continue its yearlong “Newstalgia” campaign, which pairs familiar favorites with new twists for the brand’s 80th year.
The choice of flavor is a notable one. While most chains anchor fall on pumpkin spice, and Starbucks brings the Pumpkin Spice Latte back August 25, Chick-fil-A is reaching for the campfire instead, running s’mores through the same familiar-with-a-twist play its campaign name spells out. It fits the pattern in this year’s consumer research, where the rituals and flavors people return to each year, more than novelty for its own sake, are what carry the season.
