Creep It Real OC, billed by its organizers as Orange County’s largest Halloween festival, returns for its seventh year on Friday through Sunday, September 11 to 13, 2026, at the Heritage Museum of Orange County in Santa Ana. The “Vintage Hometown Halloween” festival runs 4 to 10 p.m. each day. The two biggest additions this year are a Disney’s Halloweentown cast panel on Sunday and a new Victorian walkthrough inside the museum’s historic Kellogg House, layered on top of the festival’s 120-plus vendors, live music, and a nightly trick-or-treat parade.
Creep It Real also runs a holiday edition in November. The video above is from that Festive event, for a feel of the atmosphere the team brings to the Heritage Museum.

The Magic of Halloweentown Panel
The weekend’s marquee draw is a Disney’s Halloweentown reunion. “The Magic of Halloweentown” panel takes the main stage on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. with stars Kimberly J. Brown, Judith Hoag, and Daniel Kountz, who reflect on the 1998 Disney Channel classic and share stories from making the series. All three are also at the festival throughout the weekend for autographs and photos, which the celebrities price themselves, available during event hours except during Sunday’s panel.
A New Victorian Walkthrough in the Kellogg House
New this year, The Vogel Victorian takes over the historic Kellogg House on the museum grounds for a guided Victorian mourning experience. (The Vogel Victorian’s Diana Vogel is now a competitor on HGTV’s A Very Haunted Renovation.) The walkthrough covers the customs surrounding death, funerals, and burial in the Victorian era, from how families honored their loved ones to the symbolism behind mourning rituals. It closes in the dining room with the glow of authentic uranium glass, an eerie finale to the tour.
Vendors, Music, and a Trick-or-Treat Parade
The heart of the festival is its vendor marketplace, with more than 120 curated spooky vendors selling art, licensed merchandise, oddities, apparel, and treats. Live music runs across two stages from The Rhythm Howlers, Kitty Antix, and The Boo Belles. Each night at 7:45 p.m., the “Creep On” trick-or-treat parade sets off from the festival gazebo, a lamplit costume cavalcade along the festival paths.
There is more to do between the shopping and the shows. Guests can meet real owls from Falcon’s Court, and the event has expanded its food and drink options this year, including alcohol for guests 21 and over. Vintage dress is encouraged, with roaming characters and themed photo ops throughout the grounds.
Tickets
Tickets are on sale now through TicketSpice. A Creepin’ Weekend Pass covering all three days is $52.77, and single-day general admission for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday is $21.72. Admission is free for children 10 and under, free for costumed pets, and parking is free. A merchandise presale (t-shirt, canvas tote, and a bundle) runs through September 4, with pickup at the event.
Know Before You Go
Creep It Real OC is held outdoors across the Heritage Museum grounds, with varying surfaces including dirt, gravel, mulch, concrete, and grass, so closed-toe shoes are recommended. Costumes are welcome, and foam weapons are fine while metal ones are not. The festival runs 4 to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
