Dairy Queen's Spellbound Series Halloween menu on a silver tray: the purple Enchanted OREO Blizzard, the Bubble Brew Sparkler, and a Chicken Strip Basket with Ghost Pepper Sauce

Dairy Queen’s first Halloween collection comes with a purple ube-flavored Oreo Blizzard, a sparkling blood orange lemonade that foams as you stir it, a ghost pepper dipping sauce, and $4 mystery plush keychains. The Spellbound Series runs September 28 through November 1 at participating U.S. locations, and pulling the rare golden keychain, named Goldie, wins free Blizzards for a year.

The Spellbound menu

  • Enchanted OREO Blizzard Treat (new). Oreo cookies and a sweet ube-flavored base blended with DQ soft serve and finished with a purple shimmer. Ube is a purple yam common in Filipino desserts, and together with the shimmer it gives this Blizzard its color.
  • Bubble Brew DQ Sparkler (new). Blood orange and lemonade with sparkling water, served over ice and topped with cold foam. DQ says to give it a stir, because “the more you stir, the more it bubbles and foams.”
  • Ghost Pepper Sauce (new). A smoky ghost pepper dip that DQ pairs with its four-piece Chicken Strip Basket, which comes with chicken strips, fries, and Texas toast.

The $4 Mystery Blizzard Buddies

The plush keychains are shaped like little Blizzard cups. They cost $4 with any purchase at participating U.S. locations, with a limit of one per customer per transaction. Each one comes in mystery packaging, so you find out which design you got when you open it. There are five designs: Blizabeth, Flip, Blenda, Brrrnie, and a rare golden one named Goldie. The keychains are sold while supplies last.

How the Goldie prize works

If you unwrap Goldie, you win Blizzard Treats for a year. The prize is a sweepstakes, and it ends October 31. To win, you must be 18 or older, a DQ Rewards member, and a legal resident of the U.S., D.C., or Canada, excluding Texas and Quebec. No purchase is necessary, and DQ says the official rules and a free way to enter will be posted at dairyqueen.com/en-us/plushie-sweeps by September 28.

After DQ’s fall menu

DQ calls the Spellbound Series the first Halloween collection in its history. It follows the Fall Treat Collection Dairy Queen brought out on August 31, with the returning Pumpkin Pie Blizzard, two new Blizzards (Caramel Apple Cheesecake and Brown Sugar Cookie Dough), and a Toasted Marshmallow Mocha Coffee Cooler. You can find that full menu in our Dairy Queen fall menu story. For more chain Halloween menus, see Starbucks’ black cat Halloween collection and our Fall Food and Drinks 2026 guide.
