Halloween Horror Nights opened at Universal Studios Hollywood on September 3, and this year the food is spread across 15 themed stands, carts, and bars tied to the event’s houses and scare zones. I walked the event and photographed the menus so you can see what is on offer and what it costs before you go. Below is the complete 2026 food and drink lineup, organized by location, with prices, Universal’s official photos, and my own notes on the few items I got to try.
The HHN Hollywood food menu at a glance
There are 32 food items and 25 specialty drinks this year. Food runs from a $6.99 bag of churro bites up to a $39.99 giant hot dog meant to share, and most plates land between $8.99 and $18.99. The specialty cocktails are almost all a flat $18.00, with non-alcoholic versions at $12.00. The one line to remember: most of this food is sold only during the event at night, but the Springfield and Fortnitemares stands are open during the day too.
Know before you go
A few things worth knowing before you line up:
- Daytime vs. night. The Springfield (Treehouse of Horror) and Fortnitemares (Tower Snacks) items are available during the day, so day guests can grab those without an event ticket. Everything else is served only at night, during Halloween Horror Nights.
- Desserts go early. The dessert-style items move quickly. I went for the Fortnitemares Final Peel and it was already gone, so if a sweet is on your list, grab it early in the night.
- Drinks are the splurge. Nearly every specialty cocktail is $18, so a round adds up quickly. The non-alcoholic specialty drinks are $12.

Springfield / Treehouse of Horror (Upper Lot)
The Simpsons’ “Treehouse of Horror” takes over Springfield on the Upper Lot. There is no maze this year, so the whole tie-in lives on the menu, and these items are among the few sold during the day, not just at night.
Sloppy D’oh ($15.99). Ground beef in a tangy tomato chili sauce, topped with Fritos.
Wurst.Brat.Ever! ($13.99). Bratwurst in a pretzel roll topped with Duff cheese sauce and sauerkraut.
Road Scrapin’s ($16.99). French fries topped with white country gravy, cheese, fried chicken, and crispy onions.
Mmm… Forbidden Donut ($11.99). Vanilla donut with pumpkin spice icing topped with sprinkles and a printed candy note.
Pumpkin Spice Cold Boo ($10.99). Cold brew topped with pumpkin spice pink vanilla cold foam and a donut hole. I tried this too. It is close to the Orlando version and not very sweet, since most of the sugar sits in the foam on top. At $10.99 it costs more than the Orlando Cold Boo and more than a Starbucks pumpkin spice latte, which makes the value a harder sell.
Tower Snacks (Fortnitemares)
Fortnite’s Halloween event, Fortnitemares, sets up at Tower Snacks near Universal Plaza, beside the new Freaky Fields scare zone. Like Springfield, these items are available during the day.
Battle Bus Dog ($39.99). Giant 22-inch all-beef hot dog with Tostitos nacho cheese sauce, coleslaw, sriracha aioli, banana peppers and crushed Hot Cheetos.
Zero Point Pretzel ($8.99). Soft pretzel dipped in dark chocolate and topped with purple sugar. I tried this one: it is a warm pretzel finished with chocolate drizzle and sprinkles, not a chocolate shell, so it is messy and best for people who really love chocolate. The Final Peel next to it was already gone when I tried to grab it, so the desserts here go early.
The Final Peel ($8.99). Green vanilla whoopie pie filled with banana caramel buttercream, salted toffee sauce and salted caramel crisp pearls.
Slurp Juice ($12). Mountain Berry Powerade, Sprite, pineapple juice, blue curacao syrup and edible glitter.
Sinners (City Snack Shop)
The vampire film Sinners fuels a bourbon-and-barbecue snack shop, heavy on whiskey and smoke.
Remmick’s Burnt Ends ($15.99). Pork burnt ends in a black garlic whiskey BBQ sauce. Served with jalapeno cornbread.
Pecan and Whiskey Bread Pudding ($8.49). Warm brown sugar pecan bread pudding topped with whiskey butterscotch sauce and flakey salt.
Burnt Ends Walking Taco ($18.99). Fritos Scoops topped with whiskey BBQ sauce pork ends and cheddar cheese.
Club Juke at Mulligan’s Pub (Sinners)
Sinners’ Club Juke takes over Mulligan’s Pub with a row of specialty cocktails. Every cocktail here is $18, with a non-alcoholic option at $12.
Prohibition Punch ($18). Jack Daniels Single Barrel Select Whiskey, lemonade, honey, and orange bitters with a blackberry hibiscus float and dehydrated lemon wheel.
I Lied to You, I Love the Blues-berry ($18). Blueberry vodka, ginger ale, white grape juice, lemon juice and blue curacao syrup, with fresh blueberries and a lemon wedge.
Juke Juice ($18). Blackberry moonshine, lemonade, blackberry puree, maple syrup, bitters, and a black sugar rim with dehydrated blood orange and fresh blackberries.
Pale, Pale Moon Pale Ale Shandy ($18). Blue Moon, lemonade and simple syrup garnished with a dehydrated orange.
I Lied to You, I Love the Blues-berry (Non-Alcoholic) ($12). Ginger ale, white grape juice, lemon juice and blue curacao syrup, with fresh blueberries and a lemon wedge.
Ozzy’s Bar (Jurassic Terrace)
An Ozzy Osbourne tribute bar on the Jurassic Terrace, with food and a run of Prince of Darkness cocktails named after his songs.
Bark at the Naan ($13.99). Naan taco filled with chicken tikka masala, red cabbage, diced pineapple, lime crema, and cilantro.
Crazy Train Chickpea Curry Burrito ($16.99). Coconut chickpea curry burrito with diced tomato, pineapple chutney, red cabbage, and lime crema.
The Prince of Darkness Cake ($8.99). Carrot cake with cream cheese mousse, coated in black ganache. Topped with chocolate mousse and a chocolate bat.
I Just Want You…& Tacos ($18.99). Fritos, black garlic BBQ brisket, red onion, coleslaw, cilantro.

Clown Cafe (Art the Clown, Panda Patio Tent)
Terrifier’s Art the Clown runs the Clown Cafe in the Panda Patio tent, mixing savory plates with a couple of killer cocktails.
Death by Cheese Stick ($8.99). Giant fried mozzarella stick served with spicy marinara.
Bloodbath Brisket Fries ($16.99). French fries topped with brisket, BBQ sauce, jalapeno ranch, crispy onion, and green onions.
Clown Cafe Cauliflower Bites ($11.99). Spicy fried cauliflower topped with a Hot Cheeto sauce and Fritos chips.
Gut Wound ($8.99). Chocolate raspberry croissant pull-apart.
Root in Evil ($18). Cutwater Vodka, root beer schnapps, cherry syrup and Sprite topped with a black licorice straw and maraschino cherries.

Art’s second stop goes full Christmas-in-October slasher in the Laemmle Courtyard.
Christmas Tree Glasses Sandwich Cookie ($8.99). Green sugar cookie sandwich filled with raspberry jam, pistachio buttercream, and chopped pistachios.

La Siguanaba Spicy Margarita ($18). Spicy watermelon habanero margarita with a chamoy and Tajin rim and a tamarind straw.

The second Día de los Muertos bar is all margaritas.
Pepino Margarita ($18). Tequila, triple sec, lime juice, agave and sparkling cucumber soda with a chamoy and Tajin rim and fresh cucumbers.
Pina Margarita ($18). Tequila, mezcal, lime juice, agave, and pineapple juice topped with a chamoy drizzled pineapple wedge.

What I tasted
I only got to a couple of items on opening weekend, but here is what both were actually like. The Zero Point Pretzel at Fortnitemares is a warm pretzel under a chocolate drizzle with sprinkles. It is not coated in a chocolate shell, so it gets messy, and it is really for people who love chocolate sauce. The Pumpkin Spice Cold Boo in Springfield is the better repeat buy: it is close to the Orlando version, not too sweet because the sweetness lives in the foam on top, and it comes in a fun collectible cup.
Bonus: the Hami Kuma popcorn bucket
It is not food exactly, but the collectible popcorn bucket is part of the HHN snack run every year. The 2026 Hollywood bucket is a Hami Kuma “werebear,” a fuzzy monster teddy in a plaid scarf, and it refills like the park’s other souvenir buckets. If you collect these, it is worth grabbing early in the season.
Is it more expensive than Orlando?
Yes and no, and the split is worth knowing if you have done Halloween Horror Nights on both coasts. On the food items that appear at both parks, Hollywood is actually a little cheaper: the Death by Cheese Stick is $8.99 here against $12.99 in Orlando, the Severed & Smoked Chicken is $10.99 against $12.99, and Steve’s Smuggled Peanut Butter Bites are $8.99 against $9.99. Where Hollywood costs more is drinks. The Pumpkin Spice Cold Boo is $10.99 here versus $10.00 in Orlando, and a single specialty cocktail is a flat $18.00, above Orlando’s $15.00 single-serve pour. At $10.99, that Cold Boo also runs more than a Starbucks pumpkin spice latte, which is the kind of math that makes a second one a hard sell.
