Michael Myers now has his own video game, and it is out just in time for Halloween. Halloween: The Game drops you into 1978 Haddonfield to either take the mask as the Boogeyman or fight to survive the night, and it is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

How the Game Works

Halloween: The Game is an asymmetric horror game, which means the two sides play very differently. On one side, you are Michael Myers, stalking and terrorizing the residents of Haddonfield. On the other, you are one of those residents, arming yourself with weapons and everyday household items to fend off the killer, alert the authorities, and get families out alive.

It runs as both a single-player game and an online multiplayer one. The solo side includes narrative missions called “The Night He Came Home,” told through Michael’s eyes, and the multiplayer side lets players face off or team up. IllFonic calls it a horror sandbox, with maps, characters, and abilities that change how each night plays out.
