Michael Myers has a beer this Halloween, and now a video game to go with it. New Belgium’s Voodoo Ranger built its Halloween Hoppy Pack around Slasher IPA, a 7.5% ABV beer with the masked killer on the can, and its Voodoo Ranger x Halloween Sweepstakes is giving away 9,000 digital codes for Halloween: The Game.

Horror outlet Bloody Disgusting first reported the pack on August 13 and says it is available in stores now.
About Slasher IPA
The can sums itself up in three words printed on the label: “Pine. Citrus. Slays.” Slasher IPA is an American IPA sold in 12-ounce cans, and New Belgium’s listing for the beer calls it a “Collaboration with Halloween.”
The artwork is the fun part. Voodoo Ranger’s skeleton mascot wears Michael’s white mask pushed halfway off its skull, trapper hat still on underneath, with the killer’s butcher knife rising up the side of the can. The same image wraps the 12-pack box.
What’s in the 12-Pack
The Halloween Hoppy Pack holds 12 cans, three of each beer. Slasher IPA is exclusive to this pack, so this is the only way to get it.
- Slasher IPA (7.5% ABV) – the pack-exclusive Halloween beer, pine and citrus forward, with Michael Myers on the can.
- Voodoo Ranger IPA (7% ABV) – the flagship IPA in the green-hatted skeleton can.
- Voodoo Ranger Imperial IPA (9% ABV) – the bigger, hoppier original.
- Citrus Slayer (9% ABV) – an imperial IPA built around grapefruit and orange, per its product page.

The Voodoo Ranger x Halloween Sweepstakes
Voodoo Ranger is not stopping at putting Michael Myers on a can. The brand is running the Voodoo Ranger x Halloween Sweepstakes, which gives away 9,000 digital download codes for Halloween: The Game, the new Michael Myers video game. Each code works on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, or PC, and the official rules put the value at $50 per code, for a total of $450,000.
The sweepstakes runs from August 1 through November 30, 2026, split into three entry periods, each with a separate drawing:
- Entry Period 1: August 1 to September 7, drawing on or about September 8, with 5,000 winners.
- Entry Period 2: September 8 to October 14, drawing on or about October 15, with 3,000 winners.
- Entry Period 3: October 15 to November 30, drawing on or about December 1, with 1,000 winners.
The second window is open now, so there is still time to get in. You can enter once per period and three times total, but you can win only once overall.

Halloween: The Game is a new asymmetric horror game from developer IllFonic, co-published with Gun Interactive, that launched September 8, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It drops players into Haddonfield on Halloween night, 1978, where you either take the shape of Michael Myers and stalk the town or fight back and try to survive the night.
