Home Depot’s 7 FT Grave & Bones Animated LED Plague Doctor is a $199 animatronic in the retailer’s 2026 Halloween collection, and it has become one of the season’s breakout searches.
What the Plague Doctor Does
The plague doctor stands 7 feet tall and runs four movements. It speaks three spooky phrases and lights up in several places: color-changing goggles, a lit collar and mask trim, and a glowing staff and lantern. It is part of Home Depot’s Grave & Bones line, the same collection as the retailer’s 11-foot mummy. The look is a hooded, beaked medieval plague doctor holding a lantern in one hand and a staff in the other.
Price, Rating, and Availability
At $199 the plague doctor sits in the middle of Home Depot’s animatronic range, which the retailer keeps under $300 for its in-store giants. On HomeDepot.com it is marked Top Rated, carrying a 4-star rating from more than 275 reviews. As of this writing it is listed as available, with delivery as early as August 11 and ship-to-store shortly after.
Where It Fits in the 2026 Collection
The plague doctor was not part of Home Depot’s official collection announcement, which spotlighted the returning 12-foot Skelly and the new giant mummy and Perilous Plant Monster. It is a separate listing on HomeDepot.com, which is part of why it flew under the radar even as searches for it climbed through August. Home Depot put the full 2026 collection online on July 16, with the in-store rollout starting in late August, so the plague doctor is shipping now and will reach shelves over the coming weeks.
