Orlando, FL — Hotel Transylvania’s monsters are checking into SeaWorld Orlando this fall. For the first time, Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania joins Spooktacular, the park’s daytime, family-friendly Halloween event, with character meetups, a dance party, and a separately ticketed monster breakfast. Spooktacular runs on select dates from August 29 through November 1, 2026, and is included with regular SeaWorld admission.
What Is New: Hotel Transylvania
Guests can meet Drac, Mavis, and other Hotel Transylvania characters through themed experiences and entertainment across the park. Two of the additions go beyond character meet-and-greets:
- Monster Dread & Breakfast (separately ticketed) — SeaFire Inn transforms into a Hotel Transylvania breakfast with an all-you-care-to-enjoy themed buffet, character meet-and-greets, photos, and interactive entertainment.
- Hotel Transylvania Dance Party — hosted by Mavis and Johnny.
Returning Spooktacular Favorites
The daytime event brings back its family lineup:
- A trick-or-treat trail with 12 candy stations (a reusable trick-or-treat bag is required).
- Spookley the Square Pumpkin.
- The Halloween mermaids.
- The Pumpkin Garden and Storytime.
- The Spooky Bubble Trail.
- The Scarecrow Halloween Dance Parade.
- The Sesame Street Halloween Parade and Storytime with Big Bird.
Costumes, Allergies, and Admission
Guests of all ages can wear costumes, though guests 13 and older cannot wear costume masks or hoods, and face painting is permitted only when done by the park’s own artists. SeaWorld also runs its Teal Pumpkin Program for guests with food allergies, who can collect tokens at trick-or-treat stations and exchange them for allergy-friendly treats.
Unlike SeaWorld’s nighttime Howl-O-Scream haunt, which is a separately ticketed, scarier event for older guests, Spooktacular is a daytime program included with regular park admission.
