Abu Dhabi, UAE — Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and SeaWorld Yas Island are running family Halloween events every day through November 1, and each park has a new live show this year. Neither park’s Halloween page lists a haunted house or a scare maze: Warner Bros. World’s Spooktober brings out more than 60 Halloween characters, and SeaWorld’s Spooky Sea-son adds a candy treasure hunt and storytime.

Spooktober at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is a Warner Bros. theme park on Yas Island with six lands, from Gotham City and Metropolis to Bedrock and Cartoon Junction. Its new Halloween show is Scooby-Doo and the Full Moon Carnival on the Warner Bros. Plaza Stage, with circus acts, comedy and a musical finale. The Flintstones and The Rubbles have a Yabba-Dabba-Boo Meet & Greet in Bedrock, and kids pick up a trick-or-treat bag and map for a candy hunt in Cartoon Junction.

The park dresses six rides for Halloween:

  • Scooby-Doo: The Museum of Mysteries
  • The Joker Funhouse, with mirror mazes, scaling walls and obstacles
  • Scarecrow Scare Raid
  • Batman: Knight Flight
  • Tom and Jerry: Swiss Cheese Spin
  • The Flintstones Bedrock River Adventure

Big Belly Burger in Metropolis serves burgers and hot dogs, Hall of Doom in Gotham City serves international dishes, and Celebrity Scoop on Warner Bros. Plaza serves sundaes, malts and milkshakes. From 6 p.m., purchases until midnight come with a chance at a Halloween dessert gift, while stocks last, at both parks.

Spooky Sea-son at SeaWorld Yas Island

SeaWorld Yas Island, an indoor marine-life theme park, runs Spooky Sea-son daily through November 1. Its new show is Sakina’s Spooky Celebration at One Ocean, with Sakina, Juniper, Coral, Shivers, Puck and Flip. Spooky Story Time at Naham Theater has Juniper telling a seasonal tale with Sakina, followed by meet-and-greets.

The trick-or-treat trail follows riddles to candy stations with HARIBO treats, each with a marine-life fact. The seasonal desserts at Dallat al Bahar and Pretzel Point include Coconut Strawberry Mousse, Haunted Mango Cheesecake, Spiced Pumpkin Choux and Spooky Chocolate Éclair.

Spooktober Ran October 4 to November 2 in 2025

In 2025, Spooktober ran from October 4 to November 2 with more than 60 Halloween characters, live stage shows and trick-or-treat trails, according to the park’s event page at the time. This year’s run ends November 1, and the Scooby-Doo show is new. Neither park’s event page lists a separate Halloween ticket price this year.

Family Halloween at Home and Abroad

In Hershey’s Halloween report, 41% of parents expect to be more involved in Halloween this year, against 27% of all adults, in my Hershey report story. Enchanted Parks is running family events by day and haunts by night at four of its six parks in its first Halloween, in my Enchanted Parks story, and premium tickets are still selling at the other end, as I wrote in my October 5 essay.

Halloween at Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park runs through November 1, alongside Hong Kong’s first Halloween Month of cosplay street parties, in my Hong Kong story.
