Six Flags Magic Mountain added 11 limited-time dishes for Fright Fest this year, from Cajun frog legs to a Worms in Dirt funnel cake, and I tried all of them. My top two are the Last Leap Frog Legs at Chicken Coupe and the Black Widow Wings. Below is every item with its location and my ranking, plus the six Fright Fest drinks and what to know about the dining plan.

Fright Fest 2026 menu: 11 dishes, six drinks, no posted prices
The Fright Fest menu has nine savory dishes, two desserts, and six drinks, including two blood bags for guests 21 and older. Three of the dishes are at Max’d Out Mac and Spuds, and two are at Chicken Coupe. Six Flags’ Fright Fest page lists every item and the stand that sells it, but not prices, so check the menu board before you order.

My tasting notes, ranked
1. Last Leap Frog Legs
Chicken Coupe. My No. 1, and part of the reason is that it’s Halloween season, so frog legs are just fun. They are cooked well, nice and crispy, and they come over fries with just the Cajun rub on them, so you can dip them in the Cajun sauce as much as you want. If you have never had frog legs, this is a fun time to try them. They taste like a lighter chicken, and with the fries it’s a fine meal.
2. Black Widow Wings
High Octane Wings and Full Throttle Sports Bar. These are just wings: five of them in a sweet-and-spicy chipotle blackberry sauce. The sauce is pretty mild, which is fine. They make my top two for the same reason as the frog legs. They are cooked well, and they are pretty good wings.
3. Monster Mac
Max’d Out Mac and Spuds. It’s hard to go wrong with mac and cheese. This is a white mac and cheese, so it’s on the creamier side, and it’s topped with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, green onions, and ranch. You can’t taste the Hot Cheetos that much, for better or worse.
4. Fright Fest Burger
Full Throttle Sports Bar. This one might rate higher for some people. The burger itself is fine, and the topping is what makes it interesting: pepper jack cheese and a whole jalapeño popper, smushed right onto the patty, so the popper’s breading adds a layer between the cheese and the bun, which some people will like. To me it wasn’t much different from ordering jalapeño poppers on the side, and it has to be served hot or it doesn’t taste great.
5. Graveyard Chili Spud
Max’d Out Mac and Spuds. A basic potato with chili: a baked potato smothered in beef chili and cheese sauce, with green onions on top.
6. Carnitas Chaos Tots
Max’d Out Mac and Spuds. Crispy tater tots smothered in white queso and topped with carnitas and pico de gallo. It is a straightforward plate of loaded tots.
7. Boo-falo Chicken Pizza
Twisted Wiches and Primo’s. This one is hit or miss. It’s a ranch-based pizza with mozzarella, spicy buffalo chicken, bacon, and green onions, and a few of the slices I had were too cold. It’s not a great pizza, but it’s not terrible.
8. Carnage Philly Cheesesteak
Big Belly. Thinly sliced steak with caramelized onions, bell peppers, and American cheese on Philly bread. Like the pizza, this one comes down to how fresh and warm it is when you get it.
9. Lengua Quesadilla
Food Etc. and Twin Charged Tacos. A grilled flour tortilla with braised lengua (beef tongue), melted cheese, and pico de gallo, served with salsa verde. It’s a basic quesadilla.
The two Fright Fest desserts
Dead Man’s Dessert Fries, Chicken Coupe. Sweet potato fries loaded with marshmallow whipped topping, caramel, Heath pieces, and M&M’S. Mine came in a waffle cone.
Worms in Dirt Funnel Cake, World Famous Funnel Cake Factory. Funnel cake topped with raspberry preserves, whipped cream, Oreo crumbles, and gummy worms.
Both are fine. Pick the one whose toppings sound better to you.
Fright Fest drinks and blood bags
Six Flags lists six Fright Fest drinks. Four are non-alcoholic, and all four are at Tweety’s:
- Candy Corn Fanta Punch Mocktail: Fanta Orange with pineapple juice, whipped cream, and candy corn.
- Vampire’s Kiss Blood Bag: lemonade, cherry syrup, and vanilla.
- Purple People Eater Blood Bag: desert pear syrup, cranberry, and lemonade.
- Pixie Potion Blood Bag: blue raspberry, green apple, and lemonade.
The other two are vodka blood bags for guests 21 and older, and Six Flags’ page does not name a stand for them:
- Transfusion Blood Bag: vodka with cranberry juice, grenadine, and lemonade.
- Zombie Juice Blood Bag: vodka with Granny Smith apple syrup and lemonade.
To buy alcohol, you need a valid U.S. government-issued photo ID with your birthdate, or a passport.
Can you use the dining plan on Fright Fest food?
Park staff and MouseInfo disagree. When I was at Fright Fest, staff told me the Six Flags Magic Mountain dining plan was valid and that some of these items are eligible. Some of the specialty food is marked with an M for the dining plan, so look for the M on the seasonal menu.
MouseInfo’s Fright Fest menu roundup says otherwise: “Daytime dining vouchers and All-Season Dining Plans are NOT valid during Six Flags Fright Fest.” The same roundup also says “Dining Plan eligible menu items will be noted at each location.” The policy may vary from stand to stand or change during the season, so if you are counting on your plan, ask at the register before you order.
Is Fright Fest food at Magic Mountain worth it?
Keep in mind that Six Flags Magic Mountain is not known for its food. This menu is a step in the right direction, but it’s still not as good as what you would get at Disneyland or Knott’s.
This part is my opinion, and no source confirmed it to me: from my photos and from eating everything, most of these items look like they come from Sysco, the food-service distributor, and get reheated or assembled on site rather than cooked from scratch. That’s why serving temperature makes or breaks the burger, the pizza, and the cheesesteak. The frog legs and the wings were cooked well, which is a big part of why they top my list.

Staff told me the dining plan was valid and that eligible items are marked with an M, but MouseInfo reports that daytime dining vouchers and All-Season Dining Plans are not valid during Fright Fest. Ask at the register.
