About RCFX
R.I.P. City FX makes special effects makeup and scenic effects products. The company, formerly known as RCFX, started as a haunted house supply company, and its products are now used by professional makeup artists and set dressers in haunted houses, film, custom construction and theme park attractions.
On the makeup side, Fast Airz is an alcohol-based airbrush makeup the company describes as “created by haunters for haunters,” usable for full body paint down to fine line work. Haunt Blood is a thick, alcohol-based stage blood built for extreme haunt conditions that dries with a wet look and stays where it is applied, and Chum is a chunky, coagulated blood effect for props and characters. For sets, Death Metal Rusting gives pipes, gears, tanks and boilers a naturally aged look. It is sprinkled onto a surface coated with adhesive spray glue, or applied with the company’s death metal gun for larger jobs, and it can be mixed into paint or paired with the company’s blacklight paints for UV rusting effects.
R.I.P. City FX exhibited at TransWorld’s Halloween & Attractions Show 2026 at Booth 831.
