The Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, CA is known in the haunt community for their immersive horror experiences. They create one of the largest haunted attractions in Northern California. Partnering with influencer Christine McConnell is a great way to grow the house’s brand and reinforce their owned IP. McConnell’s first episode aired only a few weeks ago and is over 200K on views, suggesting the Mystery House episode will do well.

What is “From the Mind of Christine McConnell?”

Back in April, “The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell” was canceled by Netflix after just one season. It was a horrific Martha Stewart-like series featuring Christine McConnell, who showed off her amazing food creations. After this, McConnell came back with a new show called “From the Mind of Christine McConnell” in July.

“From the Mind of Christine McConnell” is a monthly series where Christine McConnell, baker and artist, creates and documents atypical projects like cake-decorating and shoe-making. The series is made possible through McConnell’s Patrons on Patreon. While one episode is released each month on the official YouTube channel McConnell, Patrons will get exclusive access to an additional monthly episode.

What Is In The Second Episode?

In the first episode, the baker and artist transform the 1970s pull out couch into an Edwardian-style sofa. Check out the episode here.

But, for the second episode, McConnel aimed for something bigger and took the show to The Winchester Mystery House. The episode was announced on August 1, 2019, on social media. While there were no specifics of the project of the second episode, Christine McConnell mentioned that the episode would be referenced to her in-person unveiling of the project at the aforementioned mystery house on September 6, 2019.
