Worlds of Fun Halloween Haunt runs select Fridays and Saturdays through October 31 in Kansas City, plus Sunday, October 25, with six haunted mazes, four scare zones, and five live shows, all included with admission. Three of the scare zones are new this year, and the park is selling two tickets for the price of one through October 4.

What’s New for 2026
- Three new scare zones: Mr. Tickle’s Sideshow Alley, Invasion, and Necropolis.
- Spellbound: a new show hosted by the Haunt Hellions.
- Mr. Tickle’s Last Laff: Mr. Tickle, Madame Lionne, and their clown posse return with a new show for 2026.
- More than 15 new menu items: served at both Tricks and Treats and Halloween Haunt.
- A new operator: Six Flags sold Worlds of Fun to EPR Properties in April, and the park is now run by Enchanted Parks. Halloween Haunt is included with Enchanted Parks Legend and Hero Passes, Six Flags Gold and Prestige Passes bought before April 6, and Six Flags Memberships.
The Six Haunted Mazes
All six mazes are included with admission, and Fright Lane skips the regular lines.
- BloodShed: a maze set in the Old MacDonald Meat Processing plant.
- Ripper Alley: the shadowy streets of Victorian London, with murder and madness.
- Pumpkin Eater: a twisted farm of rotting pumpkins, scarecrows, and an abandoned township, ending with a giant pumpkin as the harvest comes alive.
- Lore of the Vampire: vampires hunting through the night for the blood of the living.
- Blood on the Bayou: a bog and a manor house where curses possess and demons look for their next soul.
- Zombie High: the students and staff of Cleaver High, ready to give you a test for your life.
The Four Scare Zones
- Mr. Tickle’s Sideshow Alley (new): Mr. Tickle’s band of malcontents, expelled from the big top, runs a sideshow.
- Invasion (new): an infestation has taken over the Serengeti Research Facility, and everything that crawls is in the shadows.
- Necropolis (new): an ancient cemetery with always room for more residents.
- Outlaw’s Revenge: gunslingers and bandits in a dusty frontier town.
Shows and Entertainment
- Spellbound (new, Gateway Gardens): the Haunt Hellions host a show of songs and characters.
- Mr. Tickle’s Last Laff (Country Junction): Mr. Tickle and his clowns return with a new show for 2026.
- Overlord’s Awakening (Gateway Gardens): the Overlord calls his minions into the night.
- Conjure the Night (Gateway Gardens): a live Halloween rock show built on a battle of good and evil.
- Haunted Homecoming (Moulin Rouge theater): the undead students of Cleaver High put on a rock and roll revue.
Halloween Food and Drinks

- Murder Mystery Shake: a strawberry shake topped with gummy body parts, at Sand Dune Diner
- Detroit Style BBQ Pizza: thick crust with mozzarella, cheddar, burnt ends, mac sauce, and barbecue sauce, at River City Grill
- Funeral Potatoes: potato slices in cheese sauce with sauteed onions and chives, at River City Grill
- Swamp Monster Burger: a burger topped with spinach artichoke dip, at G’Rilla Grill
- Monster Munch Popcorn: orange, purple, and green popcorn, at several stands
- Dirty Sodas: Berry Bliss, Coconut Twist, Butterscotch Kiss, or Orange Fizz, at Swedish Dippin’ Chalet
Specialty beers and cocktails are available for guests 21 and up.
Dates, Hours, and Tickets
Halloween Haunt runs Saturdays, September 19 and 26, then Fridays and Saturdays through October 31, plus Sunday, October 25. On Fridays the park opens at 6 p.m. On Saturdays it opens at noon for the family event Tricks and Treats, which runs until 6 p.m., and Halloween Haunt takes over after dark. The park closes at 11 p.m. on most Haunt nights and at 11:59 p.m. on October 23 and 24. Online prices, which the park says may vary:
- Halloween Haunt ticket: $50.99 ($69 at the gate), with rides, all 15 Haunt experiences, and daytime Tricks and Treats on Saturdays
- Buy one, get one free: two tickets for $69.99 total, bought online by October 4 and used by October 11
- Family Sundays: $44.99 ($59 at the gate) for Tricks and Treats and Oktoberfest
- Fast Lane plus Fright Lane: $99.99, and Fast Lane alone is $79.99
- 2027 season passes: the Hero Pass, good at Worlds of Fun and Mid America Adventure, is $75.99, and the Legend Pass, good at all eight Enchanted Parks, is $130.99. Both include the rest of 2026, Halloween Haunt included.
Rules to Know Before You Go
- Chaperones: on every Halloween Haunt day, from open to close, guests 17 or younger must be with a chaperone who is at least 21, and one chaperone can bring up to five minors. Chaperones need a government photo ID.
- No re-entry after 6 p.m.
- No costumes, masks, or full-face makeup during Halloween Haunt.
- Scare zones have fog, special effects, loud noises, and intense themes, and some attractions may not be right for young children.
