Universal Orlando has confirmed Dead Coconut Club – Harvest, the 2026 Halloween overlay of Universal CityWalk’s Red Coconut Club, tied to Halloween Horror Nights 35. The venue transforms into an alien-invasion takeover of a fictional Midwest town celebrating its 35th Annual Harvest Festival, and it stays what it has been for four years running: free, all ages, and open to guests with or without an HHN ticket.
Universal’s teaser:
Strange lights, unidentified flying objects, and folks acting abnormally…what on earth is happening at Midweston’s 35th Annual Harvest Festival? Find out at Dead Coconut Club – Harvest with spooky specialty beverages, light bites, interactives and incredible music. Just don’t get abducted by aliens!
The “35th Annual Harvest Festival” is a nod to HHN’s 35th anniversary, and the alien conceit lines up directly with two other 2026 HHN Orlando additions.
The HHN 35 tie-ins
The Midweston story slots into HHN 35’s broader alien and small-town threads:
- INVASION: Alien Abduction — the new-for-2026 original haunted house set in a ravaged Southwestern homestead where an unseen alien craft has abducted a family and its livestock. It is the event’s first original alien-abduction house.
- Killer Klowns from Outer Space — the fan-favorite scare zone returns for 2026, taking the small-town alien invasion motif from the 1988 cult film and putting it back on Universal Studios Florida’s streets.
The Dead Coconut Club has quietly become HHN 35’s “third alien thing” this year, giving guests an outside-the-park venue that leans into the same theme without requiring a house-level tolerance for scares.
What Dead Coconut Club is
The Red Coconut Club is Universal CityWalk’s two-level tiki-retro nightclub on the upper level of CityWalk, and Universal has run a Halloween overlay on it every year since 2022. All five overlays have been free, all-ages, and open on HHN event nights, and 2026 continues that pattern.
New for 2026: Universal is adding light bites to the drink menu, making Dead Coconut Club a fuller food-and-beverage stop and not just a themed lounge.
