Disney Halloween Time is back at Hong Kong Disneyland, and 2026 is largely a return of what worked last year. The villain-themed season, “Party Like a Villain,” runs September 18 through November 1, 2026, one day earlier on each end than 2025’s September 19 to November 2 window. The Villains Takeover Party, the musical “Let’s Get Wicked,” and Jack Skellington’s dinner all return, the biggest addition is a new family stage show, and the whole thing stays a daytime-into-evening event included with regular park admission, with no scare mazes.

The Villain Shows
The center of the season is still the Disney Villains, and the marquee event returns bigger. In Uninvited! A Villains Takeover Party, Maleficent leads a wicked alliance of ten villains and their henchmen down Main Street, U.S.A., including Hades, Captain Hook, the Queen of Hearts, The Queen, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, Drizella, Jafar, Gaston, and Oogie Boogie. Hong Kong Disneyland says the 2026 version has “a newly expanded route and more chances to join” the celebration. A Disney Premier Access viewing pass for the party starts at HK$99.
The park’s award-winning villain musical Let’s Get Wicked also returns, featuring Ursula, Dr. Facilier, Gaston, and more. Priority admission through Disney Premier Access starts at HK$99. A larger bundle that adds the “Momentous” nighttime spectacular, a castle stage show, and eight rides starts at HK$659.
Throughout the day, Villain Hour sends Cruella, The Queen, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella out for appearances around the park, and as the afternoon grows late, the villains flood out to take over.
New for 2026: Mickey’s Happy Halloween Adventure
The newest piece of the season is aimed at younger guests. In its announcement, Hong Kong Disneyland introduced “an all-new, spooky-cute ‘Mickey’s Happy Halloween Adventure’ stage show with a mini fashion parade,” a family-friendly counterpoint to the villain programming.
Jack Skellington’s The Nightmare Before Dinner
Jack Skellington’s The Nightmare Before Dinner at River View Cafe returns for another year. Disney describes it as “a delightfully devilish and immersive banquet from Halloween Town, where new surprises and wickedly delicious delights await this year’s party.”
On pricing, it is too early to say whether the dinner costs more this year. In 2025 the set dinner ran HK$498 for adults and HK$398 for children on regular days, and HK$598 and HK$498 on peak days. Hong Kong Disneyland has not opened 2026 reservations yet, so a 2026 price is not posted. This page will update once bookings go live.
Trick-or-Treat, Treats, and Merchandise
Away from the shows, the season leans on atmosphere. Guests are encouraged to dress up, and in-character cast members hand out treats at trick-or-treat spots that Disney says will cover even more locations this year. Park and hotel restaurants add limited-edition Halloween food and drinks, and the resort rolls out a seasonal merchandise collection.
Halloween at the Hotels
The three resort hotels keep the season going after park hours. New this year is Wicked Poolside Night at the Piano Pool, a villain-themed party with photo props, a mixology workshop, spooky bites and drinks, and dancing, with honors for the best looks and dance moves. Returning are the Mickey and Friends and Duffy and Friends Halloween In-Room Party Packs, pre-order sets of themed headbands, bag charms, and more delivered to guest rooms.
How 2026 Compares
For the third year running, the season sits in the same late-September-to-early-November window. 2026 runs September 18 to November 1, almost identical to 2025’s September 19 to November 2, and a little later than 2024’s September 13 to October 31 start. The through-line since the retirement of the park’s scare-maze era is a villain-centric, family-friendly overlay rather than a haunt, and 2026 holds to that while expanding the villain party and adding the new Mickey show.
