Orlando, FL — Jack the Clown, the Halloween Horror Nights icon, is now a playable outfit in Fortnite: 1,500 V-Bucks with his jack-in-the-box back bling, or 2,000 in a bundle that adds a mallet pickaxe and a Chainsaw Balloon emote. Fortnite’s Item Shop lists both until Monday, October 12, at 5 p.m. Pacific, and the same shop has Five Nights at Freddy’s outfits for Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy.
Jack the Clown Outfit, Bundle, and Prices
Epic Games sells Jack’s items in the Item Shop’s Halloween Horror Nights section, and its page for the outfit reads, “If you’re not scared, you don’t know Jack.” In Fortnite, a back bling is worn on a character’s back, a pickaxe is the harvesting tool, and an emote is an animation the character performs.
- Jack the Clown outfit, 1,500 V-Bucks: sold with the Jack the Clown in the Box back bling. Epic’s line for the back bling is “He always pops back up.”
- Jack’s Menacing Mallet pickaxe, 800 V-Bucks: “Mr. Schmidt’s signature slammer,” according to its page.
- Chainsaw Balloon emote, 300 V-Bucks: “Takes terrifying talent to make.”
- Jack the Clown Bundle, 2,000 V-Bucks: all four pieces, 600 V-Bucks less than buying them separately.
V-Bucks, Fortnite’s in-game currency, are sold in packs, and on Epic’s site in the United States 800 V-Bucks is $8.99, 2,400 is $22.99, and 4,500 is $36.99. The 2,400 pack covers either the outfit or the bundle.
Jack, Dr. Oddfellow, and the Fortnite Scare Zone at Halloween Horror Nights
Jack the Clown is one of two icons of this year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando, with Dr. Oddfellow, and both are in the haunted house Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control, which is in my Halloween Horror Nights Orlando guide. Fortnite is in the parks this year too: Fortnitemares has a scare zone named Freaky Fields at both Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood, and Hollywood sells a Fortnite menu with a 22-inch Battle Bus Dog.
Epic’s October 1 post on Fortnitemares 2026 said “Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights Outfits and accessories” would follow through October. On October 8, the items in the shop’s Halloween Horror Nights section were Jack’s.
Five Nights at Freddy’s Outfits and Animatronic Bosses
Freddy Fazbear, Chica the Chicken, and Bonnie the Rabbit are 1,500 V-Bucks each, Foxy The Pirate is 1,600, and a bundle of all four with their accessories is 4,500, marked down from 11,000. Epic’s post says the Five Nights at Freddy’s outfits “show battle damage,” and that players can take on the game’s animatronic bosses and possess one.
Outside the game, Spirit Halloween sells a life-size Freddy Fazbear animatronic for $499.99, in stores only, and American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey, has announced a real Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza for 2027.
Freddy Krueger, The Purge, and Obsession
Freddy Krueger waits at a new location named Nightmare Neighborhood, and defeating him gives players Freddy’s Nightmare, which lets them teleport into range and slash opponents, according to Epic’s post. His outfit is 1,600 V-Bucks and comes with his glove as a pickaxe.
Epic’s list of outfits still to come in October includes The Purge, Slender Man, Beetlejuice, Predator: Badlands, and Obsession, the horror film whose villain, Nikki, is loose at Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood this year. Spirit Halloween has officially licensed Fortnite costumes, which are in my Fortnite Halloween costumes guide.
The Jack the Clown outfit and bundle are in Fortnite’s Item Shop until Monday, October 12, 2026, at 5 p.m. Pacific. Halloween Horror Nights runs at Universal Orlando on select nights through November 1.
