Kings Dominion Halloween Haunt, presented by Snickers, returns on select nights from September 18 through November 1, 2026, in Doswell, Virginia. The big new addition this year is Diablo: The Infernal Path, a maze licensed from Blizzard’s Diablo franchise, and it leads a full-scale event: six haunted mazes, five scare zones, and five live shows after dark. What’s new for 2026
- Diablo: The Infernal Path. A walkthrough licensed from Blizzard’s Diablo franchise, where guests confront the franchise’s most iconic evils. It is one of two Diablo mazes coming to the chain this year, alongside Cedar Point.
- Three new shows. Wake the Dead, a music-and-dance murder mystery the audience helps solve. Skeleton Crew, a cirque-style skeleton stunt show. Sink the Jerk, a carnival dunk tank with a mouthy performer over the water.
What’s returning
- Five haunted mazes. CornStalkers: Blood Harvest, F.E.A.R. presented by Skittles, GrimmWoods presented by M&M’S, Blood on the Bayou, and Trick or Treat presented by Snickers.
- The shows. The musical spectacular Heads Will Roll, with Queen Majesty and the Royal Court, and the nightly Blood Reign opener at the Grand Bandstand that marks the official start of the scares.
The mazes
Kings Dominion runs six haunted mazes in 2026, led by the new Diablo: The Infernal Path. Maze access requires a Haunted Attractions Pass.

Scare zones
Five scare zones take over the park after dark: Cleaver Brothers Carnival, Masquerade, Pumpkin Eater, Site X, and The Catacombs. Scare zones are included with park admission.
Shows and entertainment
Three shows are new for 2026. Wake the Dead is a music-and-dance murder mystery in which an ensemble of singers and schemers try to talk their way out of a killing while the audience helps decide who did it. Skeleton Crew is a cirque-style stunt production of skeleton performers doing falls, acrobatics, and bone-chilling feats. Sink the Jerk is a carnival dunk tank where a mouthy performer hurls insults until guests knock him into the water.
The returning musical is Heads Will Roll, a fog-soaked spectacular built around Queen Majesty and the Royal Court. Every night opens with Blood Reign at the Grand Bandstand, where Queen Majesty rises to power and unleashes the monsters to mark the official start of the scares. Families also have a daytime option in The Witch Sisters, a kid-friendly show of magic, music, and Halloween mischief.

Halloween Haunt runs select nights from September 18 through November 1, 2026, in Doswell, Virginia. It is not recommended for children under 13, and all guests need paid admission. Maze access requires a Haunted Attractions Pass, from $10 for the night you choose, or from $55 in a package that includes park admission. A 2026 All Season Haunted Attractions Pass is $29.
